For as much as Luka is hurt and having their best defenders in foul trouble, Mavericks looked solid for a lot of the game. They weren't too far behind early in the 3rd and I think even tied it up. OKC just caught fire in the 4th. Everything they put up was going in. It was a 15 point differential in the 4th.
It’s good to give OKC credit because they deserve it, but this game looked like a regular game in November in terms of intensity and physicality and the Clippers were playing much more physically in the last series and Luka was still able to play his game and get to his spots. To me, he just doesn’t look right. I’ve watched Luka for his whole career and I’ve never seen him have this many bad games in a row. His body language was god awful too. I’m not optimistic we’re going to see the Luka we’re used to in this series and it’s a major bummer because I think this would be a great series if we did.
Has Luka ever won a series when THJ is healthy? That dude is opponent's best 6th player honestly. And Kidd loves playing him absurd minutes when he's the worst player in the team.
