What’s up guys. I wrote a post previewing the off-season for the Spurs. I went over the active contracts, free agents, top priorities/team needs, and best fits in the draft and free agency. Wemby is a beast and y’all are going to be legit for a long time, but I don’t think the building process should be rushed. I think you should wait just one more year until you make big moves.

Totally agree with letting Wemby cook another year. Sick of all these “trade for Chris Paul” bullshit posts I see. The Spurs way is we do it right.
I haven’t read about anyone saying we should trade away our FRP this year, this article says we should use our pick and let them develop with Wemby. That take has been pretty unanimous and it isn’t controversial.
The conversation is and has been do we trade other assets for a current talent, to me the article didn’t address it.
I’m all in favor of grabbing a young talent – Trae Young would be high on my list
