also the Pacers: Here are 78 calls that we think went against us incorrectly and is therefore the reason we lost

Love that the players are holding themselves accountable, even if the organization wants to dispute the fairness of the officiating.

Huge choke job by the entire Pacers team

Embarrassing for Rick Carlisle. Was so obviously out-coached.

I guess the refs forced Donte to hit 3s, the refs forced the pacers to allow 60% shooting from the field. This pacers team has to be one of the worst defensive teams I’ve ever seen.

Haliburton actually had a good bounce back game but if you listen to people you’d think he belongs in the G League. Disappeared in the 3rd but so did everyone else on the team really. Would just like to see him not go into pass-only mode at times.

Rick Carlisle after playing 48 minutes of the worst defense and half-court offense I’ve ever seen : “how could the refs do this?”

Im suprised the Pacers lost this game. Some of the 2nd half coaching decisions bothered me:

There was a 5-7 min stretch where Toppin was being guarded by Jalen Brunson where they made no effort to exploit not only the size difference, but also the fact Brunson was hobbled. Toppin had 4 pts in that process, could have had 10-12. Doesn’t have to be a corner 3 all the time.

Nembhard’s defense on Brunson was ridiculous. Just watching him get into his bag first, then decided to try to guard him. No pressure whatsoever.

There was something else that I can’t recall, but Pacers’ only saving grace are the injuries and extremely high usage rates for the Nova Knicks.

They’re still in it, but the Pacers should have at least one win and last night they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I wish I had lots of money so I too could dress like a silly billy.

That’s a mature response from that young man. Respect.

Rick went after the refs to get game 3 handed to them the same way Philly did. Plan worked.

Imagine that- a player who realized they had a 10 point, no Brunson and no OG for a quarter and got outworked/hustled by an insanely shorthanded team

  12. aesop_fables

Imagine you’re at work. Your boss is telling you you’re underperforming and you say it’s because of (insert excuse here). How long before you’re fired?

The overturn of the double dribble call was crazy to me. I’m glad they got it right but Halliburton is dead on, if they can do that on that call why not on others?

ngl whenever there’s clips of him talking, i expect his voice to change.

and im disappointed when it doesnt

  15. fromthesea7

I like the little good cop-bad cop routine from the Pacers on the officials

  16. Onihczarc

damn, can’t believe i’m about to say this: i don’t hate these pacers.

  17. What a class act though, he’s going to do great balancing all of the ball dominate egos on the Olympic Team

  18. PattyIceNY

Everytime this guy talks he adds like a mil onto his next contract, someone will pay him as a grit guy

Once Nurse and Carlisle are done putting together their “Loose Change”-style documentary on the REAL conspiracy happening in NYC, Tyrese will finally open his eyes.

Imagine a team beating two teams that they’re better than in the playoffs.

    Tuh… That NEVER happens… 🙄

  20. at_least_u_tried

meanwhile your coach is referencing twitter conspiracies about how they must be rigging it for big bad new york

    game 2 was officiated well.

  21. FigSideG

Playing any kind of defense might help. Or do ‘small market’ teams not have to bother?

  22. AgentUpvote

Gotta respect Haliburton for this because it is true.

Game 1 yes they got royally fucked lets not pretend on that.

But this game was all Pacers bad coaching and Knicks wanting it more.

No Brunson and OG for a whole quarter and couldn’t close it out…

  23. dBlock845

Taking it like a man, respect… but wtf is he wearing? 🤣

  24. Randomcommentator27

Why is his face just floating around?

  25. Bro looks like he’s wearing one of those Desert Storm chemical warfare suits.

  26. DreadSteed

At the end of the day, they allowed 130 points with Brunson missing a quarter.

    Blame defense, not the refs.
