LeBron is always complimenting Ty Lue as well; just throwing that out there. Pop isn't the only coach he likes.
Great job!! Love your Spurs Content. Keep up the great work!!
I'm wit u bro I'm tuned in They gotta feed the👽 30pts 15rebs is wat he could avg if they just give him the damn ball
San Antonio's Dominance, Would Be Beyond Legendary Adding LeBron James. It Would Be Unrivaled In Defensive Heart. Coach, Spurs Organizational Structure, Provide Solid Well Rounded Focused Players, LeBron James, Would Play 5 More. Pure Unrivaled Dominance. Make It Happen.
Spurs fan here
I'm sorry gonna have to rip you a new on tyus jones
The spurs already have his brother tre jones who sports a better assist/to ratio
As a matter of fact tre has one of the best ratios in the league
Sign LeBron and CP3 for one year, pick a top PG in the draft and go for the playoffs this year. By next year, which PG they pick will be ready and it is off to the races.
Spurs fan for years, if we could pull off getting LeBron and a decent point guard through the draft then it's game over, if Wemby is not Dunking on you then Bron is , got shooters for days already….
Lebron angling to secure Bronny on a bright-future playoff squad like the Spurs actually makes the incentive for coming to SA much more reasonable. Hadn't considered that.
Donovan Mitchell has the pick n roll and small market experience from his time with Gobert in Utah. I bet he'd be a great fit as a humble all-star in SA. Definitely better than Trae
Stay TF away from my franchise! He and his son!
Please 🙏🏾 Lord do not bring in the 🐈⬛ CP3 anywhere near Wemby
its not spurs style. spurs have a lots of good players who cut in well, developing the shoot accurancy is more important than shopping.
I hope they dont go into a huge switch for an all star. I'd rather have upgrades to trade 2 or 3 guys tops. They still would need a lot of upgrades for this young core to develop.
For instance trade Johnson as long as he has good value on the market, get a vet pointguard (Conley ? Tyus Jones ? Or just give more minutes to Devonte ?) to help Trae, sign a reliable 4 (trade Collins ?) on the market and acquire a solid/promising shooter in the draft at the 3 or 4 spot (risacher maybe ?).
Also there are a lot of improvements to be done for the bench : Branham and Wesley for instance. They both are dynamic guys but too raw for now to be good options imo (I like wesley's defense though).
Also Champagnie could be of better use as a 6th man or a rotation player depending on the changes of roster imo. He's ok as a glue guy, but that could be worth trying.
Of course these are just a few thoughts as a spurs enthusiast haha, i'm not a coach 😂
I say move Wesley to the SG off the bench
Get Bron in FA
Draft Dillingham
Draft Bronny off a trade
Dillingham, Vassell, Bron, Sochan, Wemby
Tre Jones, Wesley, Branham, Cedi, Vali from Pels
Another spurs fan here!
When we talk about this coming offseason,
I hope spurs to target two special guys.
No.1 is Magic's Isaac.
This season Wemby is often defending two or more guys at same time, he needs some help.
If Isaac joins us, we can play swishing defense on front court sooooo well.
Plus, we can avoid Wemby losing stamina quickly.
In my imagination,
if we get Raptor's pick this year,
Spur & Magic's trade should be like this:
Spur gets: Issac + 2024 Magic's 1st round pick
Magic gets: Raptor's pick + Malaki + maybe two 2st round picks.
If it's a done deal,
then imagine we put Wizard's Avdija along with Wemby & Isaac.
Yes, he is my No.2
Solid defense + sneaky-good ISO + a little bit playmaking.
Sounds like Ben Simmons with shoot + good attitude and only 4yrs/5500M.
But it would cost more assets to make it come true.
That'd in my mind like this:
Spur gets: Avdija
Wizard gets: Magic's pick+ Bull's pick + Zack + Graham( to help with salary match)
If we go lucky,
we may have the starters line like this:
Wemby
Isaac/ Sochan
Avdija/ Keldon/Sidy
Vassell
Tre
Plus our own 2024 1st pick to backup.
Sarr, Risacher and maybe Topic are all good additions to Spur.
We all know pop's great at developing offense in DEFENSIVE TALENTS.
Even if we finally go for Garland or Mitchell with Hawk's picks,
this kind of defensive starters line will make it more acceptable.
You think LeBron would defer to Wemby? I don’t think he would.
Draft Bronny in the second round as our PG .
No please not lebron..his keep blaming his teammates..his a course en every team..just let him retire…
He will never get along with pop..lebron is an arrogant player.. he'll never listen to pop..
Dj can stay in Atlanta, trey too
Keep LeFlop as far away as possible from Victor (maybe NY!) Spurs need a pass first guard with a min 35% 3 ball. Nothing flashy is required as VW gonna be a point centre. If can get a long 3 and D forward in draft, they will be good. Defo not Trae 🍻
I read all of the comments and thought hmmm. It is brilliant to get Lebron by drafting Bronny. Pop can help develop Bronny and Lebron & Victor would make a dynamic team. Lebron had not one criticism about Wemby. And Lebron respects Doc, big difference than with his past or current coaches. He wouldn’t even attempt to bully Doc and he’d do anything for his kid.
Tyus Jones?? Bro how about his younger, better brother, Tre Jones? He is already on the Spurs roster..
Bron at pg
1. Bron
2. Maxey
3. Risacher
4. Wemby
5. Clingan
Are you telling me this team with a decent bench cant make a run in the playoffs next year?
Man, it is depressing as fuck if Tyus Jones is their best choice. How the hell is that going to compete with OKC, MIN, DEN, DAL, etc? It's a dumbass idea to try to get mid players in now. They need to sit Vic down and tell him, "Look, do you want to be battling for play-in spots for the next 5 years? Or do you want to build the way OKC did, and be playing for championships in 3-4 years?" He's smart, he will get it. Fuck, tank for Cooper or one of those other future stars in the 2025 class. THEN you will have your foundation.
So tired of us being every over the hill star's swan song. Also, Cameran Payne already was a Spur for about 4 hours till he started crying about leaving Phoenix. So we dropped that hot mess. Somebody tell me AM I ON CRAZY PILLS? Did PATTY MILLS retire? Why can't we bring him back? I know before yall mention age, people were talking about chris paul! OK? Patty. Knows the plays, the culture, great locker room guy/teammate on and off the court. Last Spur after Parker and Ginobili to go Super Sayan and lead his country to medal in the Olympics.
Well, your take is as good as any because, really, nobody knows what is going to happen. No to Trae Young, DJ Murray, and LeBron. Tyus Jones? Why? The Spurs already have a guard who is very much like Tyus in his brother, Tre, who is just about as good. Their stats from last year are very close. Tyus slightly higher on points and assists, Tre slightly higher on rebounds and field goal percentage, but very close, and they are both similar in style of play – smart, don't turn it over, good decisions, consistent, good playmakers. Spurs can look for a PG who has more size and athleticism to help on the defensive end too. Spurs seem to be valuing size, and players who can guard 1-5 on D. The whole "win now" thing – to me, THAT is the big question. There is a lot of debate in Spurs Nation about whether that is the smart way to go. Personally, I don't see the Spurs contending until about the 26-27 season.
Low and behold hell No LeBum LeGM, Leflop
It all just depends on what they need to give up
I would love to see a healthy LAMELO BALL, teamed up with WEMBY!
