Reading the story a while back, I had never seen a less thought-out plan for fraud than what these fools did. They gave authorities one of the most open-and-shut cases I have ever heard of. IIRC, there were multiple guys that made the same insurance claim. Same city, same doctor, same ailment, SAME TOOTH. And one of them was playing in China when he claimed to get the treatment. It would read like a bad comedy if it wasn’t so boring.
