The Thunder were the best 3pt shooting team in the league by almost every metric…but they need more shooting? I mean, you can never have too much shooting, but I wouldn't say that's the biggest need.

The refereeing was embarrassing in this game. 1) You have the "Laker Whistle." 2) You have the league wanting to stretch this series to 6 or 7 games. 3) the Jokic "whistle" or the lack of it. I have this question: does Jokic realize that the refs may try to whistle him off the court, so he plays non-aggressively for the first 3 quarters and then works to bring the game home in the 4th quarter? The refs will not be factor in any of the other Nuggets' series in these playoffs. Such a relief.
I think Nuggets as a team figured out they only need to win the 4th qtr. Its like a runner that stays behind until the final turn, then they kick into the next gear. I have no doubt they'll do the same with the TWolves.

Jamal hunting AD and calling for switches onto AD so he could bury jumpers over him over and over was hilarious and a testament to Jamal competitiveness and character. we are so lucky to have him ❤️! and the flip side LeChoke constantly hunted 6'5 100 lbs lighter Jamal to post him up, whenever he was forced to face Gordon "who is his same size" he shrank, he shanked layups,threw up bricks or passed the ball, it's hilarious how the so called chosen one gets every whistle is allowed to travel and linebackers his way to the hoop while pushing off constantly shrinks when forced to play an equally strong player. AG owned LeChoke this series, watch the tape, LeFlop got most of his points in garbage time or against smaller players while pushing off or traveling. all the for the Nuggets to show what true commitment to a team. Sit down shut up Laker Nation watch a true champion work.

I said earlier the Nuggets repeat depends on three factors: 1. Murray is healthy enough to play; 2. MPJ's shots are falling; 3. Bench contribution. Actually this Nuggets team is not as good as last year's just because the do not have as much help from the bench. Although they beat the Lakers in 5, the Nuggets are not as dominant as they were last season, the had to come back from behind in each of the games. If their bench fail to contribute as they do now, they will have a big problem against the Wolves, and the repeat will be in jeopardy.
On one hand, the Nuggets shot pretty bad from three, Jokic "only" brought his B game in quarters 1-3, and Murray had long stretches where he just plain wasn't very good. They STILL won 4-of-5. If they can even fix half those issues, they might have won their games more convincingly.
On the other hand, the Wolves look ready for the challenge, so the Nuggets need everyone to bring their A game. They really need to get out of whatever offensive funk they kept finding themselves in.
Should be a great series. I'm thinking this is a 7 game series and I have NO idea who wins.
