Right now, the talk around the league is that durant is a coach killer. It's hard to deny that when you look at the fact that everywhere he's been the coach has been fired. If our big three and aging veteran bench think that they can just coast and whine and complain about the coaching , playing time, how the offense is run or anything else involving their jobs. Then they can ask for a trade. Budenholzer's track record is impressive. We talk about culture, he can build the right culture here. Let's be honest, this team is filled with mentally soft primadonnas who are just as happy to get paid and sit on the bench laughing while the opposing team blows them out. If anyone on this team doesn't want to be coached and work hard to regain respect in the phoenix community and the league. Then we should trade them and just get another player or players that fits the system and culture that budenholzer will implement. He's the coach, meaning he's the players boss. I don't care if they are stars or bench players. This guy came to san antonio with gregg popovitch and was there when they established a dynasty. He learned everything from popovitch over 17 years with him. He is one of the top win percentage coaches both in the regular season and playoffs. He won a title with the bucks. If our players are going to test him and slack in game or pout on the bench. Get the f out. I'd rather see them traded and new players brought in that fit the coache's system and the culture he's trying to create. At some point, our owner and gm has to back the coach and get control of these spoiled athletes.
Good move by PHX now they need to round out that roster. For Lakers fans yet another time a proven coach said NO to LeBron. KD may not be a GOAT level guy but he sure is more coachable than many who were

Lmfao The agenda with this podcast, especially Espo, is so clear. He tries to dress it up, but it's obvious he doesn't like kd and will do anything to absolve booker of blame. Trying to pin this on kd in any way possible is shameful. He's 35 years old on one Achilles and was the team's best defender by MILES. He followed the coach's order of sitting in the corner as a spacer which led to the lowest usage rate of his career since his rookie season – that's the definition of buy-in. Btw, KD and booker took the same amount of 3PA's this year, but sureeeee it's only KD that had a problem with the game plan and doesn't want to change. Y'all talk about booker like he won't be 28 this season – he's very much set in his ways too; hence, the lack of 3's.
One thing is very clear and factual: The ONLY common denominator between every Suns' implosion for the past 4 straight seasons (before KD was even on the team) is Devin Booker.
McDonough was terrible at drafting and evaluating talent. He was pretty much terrible at everything.
It's dumb to buy into the belief that the draft is a crap shoot. Be better at evaluating and identifying talent.

I really hope they manage to get a backup PG. Just having someone who is dyed in the wool at that role, able to handle like 12-20 possessions a game where they start off the possession with the ball, someone the team can utilize a few stretches each game when the offense needs to find a rhythm. Even having a TJ McConnell or Tyus Jones level of contributor could be a game-changer for keeping this team's offense sustainably functional for more than a couple spurts at a time.
If they do actually use their draft pick on someone, a guy like Tyler Kolek seems like a solid choice if available (if Devin Carter somehow is available at their spot, that'd be best-case scenario stuff).
Now kd might not like the system 🤣🤣🤣…this espo guys is on somebody’s pay roll …Vogel had KD playing center 🤣🤣🤣… Vogel was disrespected from the minute they hired young as the highest paid assistant….last I checked Booker said he was chilling..Beal was screaming at Vogel….now it’s kd might not like the 5 out offense 🤣🤣🤣🤣
They were stupid to get rid of Monty Williams to begin with this franchise has done s***over and over that has just made me sick to my stomach it made me disgraced to even call myself a Phoenix Suns Fan I knew Vogel wasn't going to work out they should have just kept MONTY , but if they were going to go out and hire anybody this would be a guy that I would have had on my top five list of coaches for sure I liked him when he was coaching Milwaukee when they beat us in the finals and I even said then I was like that dude's a good coach

You have to figure that this team has to buy in. They play like this for 2 coaches inna row and you cnat just say its the coach. Its s tarnish on their legacy.
From a Bucks fan. Bud is a great coach and even a better person. check Buds first season (18-19)with the Bucks and his “fight” with Khris Middleton. Bud didn’t want at all Middleton mid range game. Middleton didn’t want to take only 3’s. They had a fight mid game vs the Knicks at NY. Early December. Bud benched him and also kept him in bench the next game. Bucks lost a game while up 20 in the 3rd. Giannis intervened. Bud and Middleton talked and found a middle ground that worked perfectly for the Bucks

Suns ran into the best team in the NBA in the Timberwolves. They were a brand new team with a new coach they had injured all first half of season and they still won 49 games. They could have easily been the #1 seed if Beal and Booker didn’t miss so many games. They just need a big man who can block shots rebound and a point guard. The team should be one of the best teams in the NBA

I hope he does well. The Suns need to learn how to play defense. and maybe don't rely so much on the big three. There are 5 guys on the floor. Maybe, they can pretend, they are a 5 on 5 team rather than 3 on 5 team.
We need to GM and management . We need also to keep our draft picks. Tyler Kolek looks very good! Like maybe solid McConnell type point guard, but to me he looks like a Nash type player and would really help us! I think he will be least a solid player
