Well we’re screwed if it’s worse than first reported. Based on game 3 I’d thought he would be able to manage but if Brunson is more like game 4 version, he’s going to need way more help from everyone. Brunson will literally have to change the foundation of his game, I’m not sure we have enough time to completely adjust that way.
We’re so highly dependant on Brunson ISO’s when we’re closing out the game because it’s such a high efficiency play when Brunson is healthy. If we’re turning to other players shooting jumpers there’s a whole ton of variance involved.
I’m still holding out hope that Brunson can be more like his game 3 version.
