Would you trade pick 16 for Brogdon on an expiring?

Where does it leave us if we take on his $22.5 million for next season? I’d like him money aside but he certainly can’t be the big off-season acquisition. Also, why didn’t we move for him at the deadline? Shipped Tobias’s expiring to Portland for Brogdan and maybe someone else?

  2. This trade eliminates PG or others in his salary range as an option. If Morey does this trade, he’s got very strong intel those guys aren’t available for any price.

No – cost, age, injury history, size. Trade that pick for a legitimate wing player who can do what Tobias was supposed to do for the past 5 years. If Brogdon is the best you can get, draft the pick and start developing some cost-controlled players for future.

I know it won’t happen, but I’d really prefer we just drafted someone and developed them into a decent role player. We’ve really failed at doing that the last 5 years.

That 16th pick is to valuable for Brogdon. I wouldn’t mind getting him though. He was killing us last year in the playoffs

I’d be a lot more interested if this involved moving off of contracts we didn’t want and if we had to attach the 16th pick, then so be it. Brogdon would take a nice chunk of our space and i don’t think he’s a guy that is worthy of doing so.

I’m all for adding more ball-handlers, but a move for Brogdon is something you do at the trade deadline i think
