This is the first time I’m hearing anyone talk about the wolves being built to beat the nuggets but I’ve been saying this for a LONG time!
The Wolves were the first team to figure out why the nuggets are so good….that team literally has 3 guys 6’10 in the starting lineup and also have a pair of “big” guards while not losing much athleticism.
The wolves understood that rule change a few years back that basically allowed guys to fight over screens without ball handlers stopping and jumping into the defender that’s the BIG part of all this. It allowed perimeter defenders to be more aggressive…. The Stephen Curry era is also ending. Wolves were just ahead of the curve. This is also the reason why the other two big teams Orlando and Cavs have seen some success.
Jay williams gave a great point about the voting. They basically chose joker because it was popular political pick
I like how Naz is a big but he got good feet to move around and guard pick and roll. Where the other two bigs are more bruiser types even tho Kat skilled then a mofo

Exactly what happened when shaq played teams had multiple bigs for him this is why the lakers front office succ you didn’t address your weaknesses and that was the center position they are stucc wit the golden state era

Hindsight is always 20/20. Barely anybody, especially former players and analysts, saw the wolves as a good matchup for the nuggets. That's why it's refreshing to watch teague and the guys, cause they own up if they said something. Unlike the media heads that were saying wolves are not contenders during the regular season and now suddenly they are saying they knew all along that the wolves are.legit
Gordon has zero chance of staying in front of Ant. Porter will get absolutely mopped if he has to guard KAT. The only way Denver stays within 20 is if they shoot 50%+ from 3.
