It took MIL half century to win their secon chip. Took MIA sis years but that was only because of the injection of James/Bosh/Allen into the fold. I beleive Raps should be able to be in the mix within the next 5 years so I'm hoping to see another chip up north before the decade. BBQ is a solid start. Need the 3-n-D forward and new era stretch C to lock up the starting 5. In the meantime, we can focus on bolstering the bench. That's what I was hoping for in the lottery pick that we just conveyed.
The BBQD core has potential but lacks a true alpha dawg. I’d say their ceiling is 5-8 in the conference. They need to ad a true superstar to be a real contender IMO. The history of the game suggests that the teams with top 10 NBA talent are the real contenders.
Ask me next May. It was the 8th pick so lets hope we get into the 1st, 2nd or 3rd area next years draft lottery.

If raptors can get lucky and get Edey and trade Portal they will have a chance to be in playoffs next year
