I’m a lot higher on Knecht than Edey, but we shouldn’t even consider them at 3. If we trade the pick, I would rather us just get players/future picks back instead of trading down in the draft.

I like Knecht but rather have someone with higher upside at 3rd pick. They are also 22-23 years old. So their upside ceiling is lower than those 19 years old players.

Knect was on my radar back when when we were likely at 9. But Sheppard while shorter is just a superior version of him overall

Definitely not Edey. Clingan absolutely shut him down in the tourney. If you have the option for both, you don’t take the worse of the two.

I’m higher on Dalton Knecht. He’s a good movement shooter, and I like his game. We don’t need anyone at the center position.

Knecht has a higher ceiling but Edey has a higher floor, and I don’t think we need any more high ceiling gambles.

And I’m starting to think we could get him cheap, so I’d try to target him before either of these dudes.

Knecht is better for this squad than a lot of players, but the jump to 3 is probably too much given Reed fills a lot of the same gaps.
