Mitchell has one year left on his deal after this season. He will have say where he goes.

  2. CasualOverreaction

Getting mitchell and Quinn Snyder is my dream.

  3. I’d trade everything for him

    Bron + AD + Donovan

But more so we’d have our future post Bron w Don and AD

  4. PretendDubs

Dmitch is the only name that I’ve heard that I would be cool with the team selling the farm for. He is a next level playoff player one of the best in the league

If we get Donovan Mitchell it’s over for the West.

It’s over for everyone. Stick Gabe and Vando in there to be nothing but giving us 5 ppg each and defensive menaces whilst Bron, AD, and Spida wreck the other team’s defence. Good fucking luck. Seriously, good fucking luck. Who you gonna cover? Which one of those 3 bad motherfuckers is getting to face off against your teams 3rd best defender?

Denver want to stick KCP on Spida, and have Gordon try take LeBron? Cool. AD will cook the hell out of Jokic on defence. You want to have Gordon help out to quite AD down? LeBron’s going off. Oh KCP will help defend? Now Spida’s dropping 50 on your ass.

Reaves, Rui and our 3 firsts. Don’t even have to think twice about that.

No way Mitchell goes to nets . I mean I know he likes nyk but nobody in nyk cares about the nets and he’d be on a play in team . He comes here and it’s a legit big 3. In Brooklyn it’s him n role players they’ll barely make playoffs if east is hesjthy

  7. coolguybradford

I say this almost every time but like two freaking years ago or something there was a post that said Spida wants to play with AD but didn’t think it was possible because of Lebron

It looks like it all might align somehow

Hopefully Pelinka and Jeanie mean business. No more penny pinching. No more pick hoarding. Get it done.

  9. ConsiderationMean358

I give up if the Lakers shooting tax turns Donovan Mitchell into Cole Anthony

  10. ktran2804

Need Donavan to pull an AD and say he aint resigning anywhere but LA. I’m guessing its Rui + Reaves and all of our picks? Those Laker picks post Bron and AD will be so valuable we may regret trading those when the time comes tbh because we will be so ass but whatever.

Nets?! Not gon lie, they need to rebuild

  12. hungrywantmooshoo

Mitchell is the ONLY “available” star worth emptying the war chest for. Any other trade (Dejounte, Trae etc) is not worth it and needle moving.

I just saw an article saying it would be 3 1st round picks, Reaves, Hachimura, Russell (sign and trade), and Vanderbilt.

If that’s the case, then who is left on our team to play with Mitchell, Lebron and AD?

We can’t start Vincent with Mitchell so that means we’re looking Mitchell, Christie, Lebron, AD and Wood as our starting 5, and Vincent and maybe Reddish and Hayes off the bench. We’d have the weakest bench of any playoff team. We’d still match up terribly against the Nuggets or Wolves defensively. We’ll be in the bargain bin looking for guys like Wenyen Gabriel and Stanley Johnson again just to put some guys on the court that can grab a board.

I don’t believe anything coming out of the mouth of that fat fuck or anything from anyone else from ESPN. Unless they admit their coverage sucks and that 99.99% of their media personalities are dumpster fires.

As much as I want Mitchell in LA we have to temper expectations. It’s very early and teams with more attractive assets to offer will be joining the Lakers at the front of the line too (Miami, OKC, Orlando, Pelicans). Mitchell will absolutely have some say in where he goes but a lot has to play out in our favor for him to land here. Hope Rob can pull it off.

If he’s on the table, everyone and everything should be sent out. Mitchell, Bron and AD balance each other out great. Some younger vets like Doug McDermott, Hauser in the offseason. Maybe steal a player for Mle. I’m salivating.

  17. Maybe I’m old but to me Mitchell is like a modern version of Wade, and AD is Bosh on steroids. LeBron is older but these three will still be a dominant force.

  18. contactEdmundhere

The thing is, no way that a Laker package wouldn’t include AR. I doubt D Lo wants to sign and trade for Cleveland, even though that would be an ideal spot for him.

  19. randomrule

Idk, this just feels like a situation where the Cavs don’t trade to us out of spite. I’m not expecting this to happen

  20. fostyinthebuilding

Spida Bron AD and two hustle players will feed families

Anyone who doesn’t want Spida on the Lakers is smoking crack

Y’all see how frustrated he is out there in Cleveland? Gonna be the same shit with Mikal in Brooklyn

  21. Nets have 6 tradable picks, I’m not sure he gets to LA.

  22. dreamofbeans

Can we S&T LeBron (+ Reaves/FRPs) for Spida. So Bron can end his career with his 1st NBA team ❤️

  23. SophisticamatedApe

Damn hate to see austin reaves go but for donovan mitchell??? Ill pack his bags
