Hasn’t this guy been comped to MPJ? If he can’t play defense I don’t think we should go in that direction

Glad Quin is involved. When was this?

Don’t get distracted fellas Sarr is the only acceptable option.

No harm in doing due diligence. I know that this sub (myself included) has been entirely on the Sarr hype train, but frankly I trust Quin + co. on evaluating prospects more than an internet forum lol

Hopefully for a possible trade down situation.

    At half Risacher has 8 points on 1/3 2PT 2/2 3PT, 3 rebounds in 10 minutes.

I know Sarr feels like the consensus choice on this sub but Risacher also projects well for what the team needs. I would be happy with both picks. Although I’d prefer to trade down to land Risacher

These 3 dudes probably had much different plans a week ago 😭

Oh god, this is the guy I’m worried about lmao. Seen some mocks that have us drafting him. Your prototypical big long lanky 3&D wing. I mean I get it, he fits the mold of what you want as a wing in the modern NBA. But man as the #1 pick? Thats a tough pill to swallow. Just not a fan of these 6’8-6’10 SF/PF tweeners. Either too slow to guard the 3 or too weak to guard the 4.

Been watching a lot of scouting reports and tape on him and he strikes me as someone who can be a good but not great defender. He still gets blown by when guarding quicker players and that’s only going to get worse against NBA competition. Not sold on his foot speed as a true lock down perimeter defender who can guard 1-3.

Then offensively you have a guy with essentially zero creation ability who dribbles and passes like uh…. De’Andre Hunter

I’m a big Sarr guy, but I’m also very happy to see our FO investing time into getting this pick right. What I would hate to see is us passing up on a Jayson Tatum (dare I say Luka for the European analogy) for a Marvin Bagley.

Definitely not saying I think that’s the projections for Sarr/Risacher, quite the opposite really, but we gotta make the right decision here regardless of what seems like the obvious choice.

    I really hope this isn’t foreshadowing…
