  1. Good vid I really hope we can pull off a good bruce brown trade like that cuz he kinda stunk it up with us tbh, and kel’el ware would be awesome

  2. Great video and analysis, bud. Typically, I don't watch youtube team analysis of the Raptors since they usually leave me scratching my head. Especially if the analyst doesn't watch all or most of their games. And even if it's someone who does cover and support the team full-time, they typically give the wrong take 19/20 times.

Anyhoo. Great job. I really like the Miami Duncan Robinson trade idea. The Raptors really need drafted players that can defend and also shoot from 3. They can't acquire – via the draft – anymore weak or middling defenders the way the roster is currently constructed with Grady, RJ and Quickly or they will never be a good defensive team. While they may not be necessarily horrible defenders, they certainly are not lockdown defenders.

The Raptors biggest needs – and lets be honest, they need everything – are a backup PG who can defend the point of attack, long-armed wings who can switch on D and a backup center of the future who can switch and block shots. 3-pt shooting from center is not a must as long as he can switch but the wings and PGs must be able to shoot from 3 or their spacing is compromised (again!).

Robinson (2 years <$20M per) and #15 (2024) for Bruce Brown works for me. With that #15 we can get Devin Carter, Tristan daSilva or whomever unexpectedly drops out of the lottery. They won't be there at #19. Robinson is a good shooter. The type of shooter teams may be interested in at the trade deadlines in 2025 or 2026. Or not. He's a bad defender but that's ok for 2 years max with what we are getting from #15. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Three bags full. Sign me up. Great job. I'm really liking your channel. You're going places. Keep it up.

  3. The kelly and ochai trade had different issues at play… we almost had 4 picks in this years draft and bringing in that many guys in one year wouldn’t have worked the best, even 3 guys is too much imo, i think ochai is interesting as a prospect, has defensive chops but needs work on offence, which fits with rj on different skills in the same position, so rj can be used at different positions if needed, Kelly’s role is straight forward spacing passing center/pf with strong leadership and mentoring skills for a younger team, we had the 31st pick as well and having a pick in the late 20s doesn’t change a lot for the tier available at 19th and 31st

  4. Grady dick really developed this year, half way through the year they rebuilt his routine and game, and his second half stats show where his at more, hes 3 ball shot is there and has other intangibles emerging

  5. CJ is expensive 30+30 and he'd be more of GTJ upgrade, the problem I see is that Raps would still be small, forcing Barnes to be the lead defender, which I don't think would work out well. How to fix it, I"m not sure, but I like FA Patrick Williams, Andrew Wiggins, someone 6'9-6'7 who can defend and shoot, Naji Marshal? OG light.
Might be better to let Brown walk and sign an FA, the 2025 pick would be nice.

  6. Good vid man! Quicklet will get closer to 30m, he s an RFA but I think other teams will offer him that amount. Hell No to herro!!

  7. Dude the raptors traded the 29th pick for Ochai and Kelly. That’s a steal. Not sure what your talking about.

  8. G Dick was poor first half but much better second half and could be future backup SG or SF

  9. Imagine getting anything for Bruce Brown lol. I'd happily take cj. If somehow hero was in talks for Bruce, take that and run lol.

  10. Really well done video bro. Other than not realizing how well Grady shot late in the year, it seemed like it came from a homer.

  11. One thing I saw was having the 2026 Indy pick as a 2nd, its a 1st round pick with top 4 protection, 2026 first round draft pick to Toronto
Indiana's 1st round pick to Toronto protected for selections 1-4 in 2026 and 1-4 in 2027; if Indiana has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Toronto by 2027, then Indiana will instead convey Utah's 2027 2nd round pick and Dallas' 2028 2nd round pick to Toronto [Indiana-Toronto, 1/17/2024]
