FYI. TNT Ernie said JDub didn't double dribble but Kenny, Draymond & Chuck yelled him down & said it doesn't matter that Dallas touched the ball because it never changed possession. So we got that call…but not many others
Cason is exactly what they needed. His ability to stay in front of his man allowed the help defender to stay a little closer to the corner. The Mavs couldn't get as deep in the paint and collapse our whole defense, leaving others wide open. Absolutely critical, he changed the whole offensive scenario for the Mavs
It is obvious looking back that the Mav's big defensive strategy was "NO POINTS AT THE RIM". Shea knew this and had the shots in his game to play around it. J Dub has to either do some of this or dish the ball as long as the Mav's stick with this.
