  1. That blows. If we play the Knicks Hartenstein is going to kill us on the boards

May 21st which is the game 1 of the ECF marks the 3rd week since KP’s injury, if the recovery period is 1 month then he should be ready for game 4 but if KP remains sidelined for game 4 onwards(if necessary), it will be a concern because it means his injury is worse than what is reported

    😈 😈 😈

Knock the rust off G4 in your old building, send em packing in your new building to go to the chip

For those who aren’t familiar, this is Woj code for “he’s definitely coming back game 3 but my source won’t allow me to say that.”

  5. Dondon1927

Anyone who thought he was going to be ready for the start of the ECF must not know how serious calf strains are lol. I honestly thought he was gonna be out until the Finals tbh so this is encouraging news

This dude is tissue soft. They coddled him all year. He needs to be ready.

  7. supersickx3

Why are some of you guys happy? This doesn’t sound good..

  8. WeHave200Couches

Optimistic take: they’re confident he can keep resting

  9. TheFirstExecutioner

Keep resting him for as long as he needs. We shouldn’t need him to beat the Knicks/Pacers. Gang rebounding will be the priority if it’s the Knicks

  10. Otherwise_Horror_183

In the videos we saw few days ago he was moving cautiously, not sprinting, not jumping a ton, so yeah it makes sense he’s not in game shape yet, even if he’s making progress every day. Probably a week til being able to practice 100% and then possibly return soon after.

  11. Theundisputed69

Don’t even need him for either of these teams. Let him rest and play in game 4+ to warmup for the real series

How does Woj know but Joe says today he has no idea?

I view this as neither a good or a bad thing

We still do not really know if it’s a grade 1 or 2, if it’s a grade 1 then a game 3 is about what we’d expect. However, if the organization is playing coy and it’s a grade 2 then he might unfortunately be gone until the finals.

It’s definitely not a grade 3 though as then he’d be gone for the season.

  14. Confirmation__Bias

There’s no reason to rush him and they know that. We own the conference.

Id rather the pacers if we don’t have porzingis for the first two games. This Knicks team scares me on the boards. We’ve been great on the boards this post season but this Knicks team is way better on the glass than any team we’ve played.

We got KP for the playoffs and guy lives on the bench. So fucking unfortunate. We’re one Al horford injury away from fucking this whole shit up. I’m nervous.

Isn’t game 1 on Sunday if NY closes tonight?

  18. HBK42581

Fine by me. I say keep him out unless it goes 6 or 7.

  19. Didn’t the insiders say that about the Cavs series?

  20. rveets1416

If we’re playing Indiana, we don’t need KP.

If we play NY without OG, we won’t need KP.

If OG does play, I’d very much like KP.

  21. b4ttous4i

OK honestly… this is kinda awesome. The mostly original team .ade it back to the EFC…

Then the mostly OG gets the upper hand right before KP comes in and they just blast into the final No problem.

Al while the other teams struggle. Kp rested fresh for a month…just starts nailing 3’s left and right
