  1. They have so much young talent that it's hard to know who to go for. Like you want a top 3 pick to potentially become a starter in the future. But at PG they have Thompson as their future, as SG Green is the future, at small forward Whitmore looks like the future, at PF it's Jabari and Sengun is the guy at center. So which one of those guys do you think could be replaced with a better young plyer from this draft should be the question because you don't want to just get a guy for the sake of it and stall the development of one of your bright up and comers and you cant just waste a top 3 pick on a "right now guy" it has to be for a potential star.

  2. Rockets probably more likely to take Reed Sheppard, FVV is very good but he’s also not going to be there forever, and they generally played poorly without him, not to mention they’re younger players are full of theoretical shooters and a couple guys slightly above that bar, Mattis probably falls into this range too.

Reed is just a far more sure thing to actually shoot at a higher level and generally be a better connector, in stats only projections he’s far and away the best player in this class and Houston generally is quite heavy on analytics even if Morey is no longer the GM
