i’m going to be so honest, if Hart can’t play, it doesn’t look good

But anything can happen in a Game 7 at the World’s Most Famous Arena, and I have quite literally waited my entire life for a moment like this,
so whatever happens happens, and no matter what, I am proud of this team and of this season

Came here to say a Cole Aldrich hook shot is unstoppable

I’m sad because after tomorrow I might not have basketball to watch until October. I definitely appreciate where we are but I always hated the end of the season for that reason

We weren’t going to win the championship with like 4 or 5 people out. If we were completely healthy and tied up at 3 games a piece then I would be demoralised. It’s be bice if we beat IND which I still think we will, but if not at least we beat PHI.

I’ve been appreciative of this whole season. We had some dark fucking days. Win or lose tomorrow it’s been one helluva year. I just hope the game is competitive buzzer to buzzer if the Knicks don’t dominate.

the anxiety is a bitch though. it is a fun ride but man it’s stressful too.

I think if Donnie Walsh makes the trade for T-Mac and Sergio in December instead of waiting till the deadline T-Mac would’ve actually had a run. His first game here was amazing but he said in interviews that the locker room was dejected and had given up. I remember going to games around that time and some of those players would just grab their stuff and bounce like thru the fan entrance with security telling them not to.

So I don’t doubt what T-Mac was saying and while I’m sure players like D-Lee and Gallo were doing all they could at that time a lot of the Isaiah era players were so used to losing that they didn’t have a lot of fight in them down to the 10th seed in February. They just wanted to get out of work. Had T-Mac come in earlier and got some more chemistry with David Lee and started winning some games that team could’ve been an 7th-8th seed.

I’m not expecting a win with Josh hurt. But yes, I’m definitely enjoying this playoff run. Great article.

The funniest thing is so many of the fans I see are so new lmao. “YALL DONT KNOW THIS PAIN” posting a picture of Jarret Jack lmao like Brother I watched 82 game seasons of Howard Eisley and paying 30 mill to Jerome James.

He’s 100% right. With everybody healthy this series is over in 4. They have been fighting nonstop with a depleted roster and with our 1A playing hurt.

This season has been a complete success. No matter what happens tomorrow

No matter the result of game 7 or what will likely follow that vs Boston, it’s only the beginning, not the end. This core is in their prime and will be here for, in all likelihood, at least the next 3 seasons. We know just how much of a true superstar Brunson is, how great of a coach Thibs is, how great of a job Leon has done constructing this roster, how great we’re set up with the cap and draft capital, and, most of all, how great the culture of the Knicks has become, particularly compared to the clown shows of the last 20 years. The 2024 playoffs have proven that last year was no fluke and we’re contenders for the long run, and that’s worth celebrating.

  12. Damn forgot moochie Norris was on our team. Def blocked that one out

  13. Training-Sound6194

Pretty much my mindset since I saw the team lose Game 5 in person at MSG.

I would’ve killed for those teams that Melo were on to be this competitive when I was a teenager.

Enjoying Brunson. With that said, let’s go Rangers.

  14. JA_MD_311

Not feeling great if Hart can’t go, and even if he can go, he’ll be a shell of himself. It’d be on Brunson to ball the fuck out and save the season – really glad it’s at home though.

Beer is right in a larger sense but we won’t appreciate it all until we look back on this era, hopefully with a ring or two, and think, “and that ‘23-‘24 season, what if everyone didn’t get hurt?? What a great team,” kinda like that ‘96-‘97 team and the Heat series suspensions.

It would be disappointing for what could have been, but if preseason you said the Knicks had a Game 7 in the second round I’d sign up for it

  16. NarwhalEqualUnicorn

Great perspective to have. We’ve been dealing with injuries for months and surviving, this team has something special about them so no reason to stop believing now. Been a hell of a ride no matter what!

  17. metastar13

Ultimately, this is true. Once Julius went down it was obvious this wouldn’t be our year to truly contend, and I’m beyond proud that this squad managed to still get 50 wins, 2nd seed, and beat a very talented Sixers team. Of course I’d love to win tomorrow and get to the ECF, but I think we all know we have no chance of getting beyond that due to injuries, so I’m just going to enjoy the ride and acknowledge this is literally the best season of Knick basketball I’ve seen since the year 2000, and I fully believe this is only the beginning.

We have a genuine window in the next few years to win a championship. It’s a great time to be a Knick fan!
