The good news is the best player still alive in the playoffs plays for the Mavs!
I think we have much easier guard matchups this series. Okc can basically switch almost all 5 players on the court at any time and do well. They also have a deep rotation of really good defensive guards. Their biggest weakness is in the paint. They made it to the number one seed with really not having a true big. This will be a much harder paint matchup for us but assuming we have maxi back at least we will have three bigs to rotate minutes.
I think we can win the perimeter but the paint I’m nervous for. Kat and Gobert are gonna give us problems especially if Maxi can’t go

I’m worried we’re going to be going against the Wolves, NBA and the refs. They’re really going to want to make Edwards the next face of the NBA. They’re always looking for the next Jordan and LeBron. Some people here think that the Mavs are the only team going to be challenged offensively. They tend to forget what made the Mavs reach this far, DEFENSE.

Kyrie scored 35 points in the only matchup against Minnesota when both teams were at full strength and that was before the PJ and Gafford trade. Ant’s not guarding Kyrie because McDaniels and Conley are not gonna guard Luka and DJJ.
