I mean Brunson shoots a whole lot more than Tatum. The main gripe a lot of people had was that Tatum wasn’t “taking the reins” of the offense. I just don’t think those people watch how he sets up shots for people with his offensive gravity. I mean it’s nothing like Steph’s sure, but he’ll constantly draw the double and we’ll get a few passes into an open three or a cutter. You unfortunately don’t get a box score stat for being the pass behind the assist. They are tracked as an advanced metric called “Secondary Assists” and Tatum is tied for 7th in that category.

Ant 6/24 tonight but immediately getting glazed for making winning plays and trusting his teammates. Tatum would be getting flayed on live television
