The same guy we watched stumble around the court like a G-League player just dropped 16 points on 100/100/100 shooting splits in a Game 7 😂

I just pray to god he doesn’t play recklessly against us like he ALWAYS does. Cause someone is going to get injured.

I respect and like nesmith he ALWAYS played super hard for us and am glad he’s doing well in Indiana.

I think we can all agree that while he’s been better than expected, he would’ve never been able to develop here with our current team.

Even in his current state, I’d say he’d just be an oshae brissett upgrade but no higher in the rotation than that.

He’s been a bit annoying recently acting like we did him wrong or smth and I’ll probably hate him by the end of this series. But the idea of “we should have kept him” will never be the case

I really like this guy and Romeo. Hope Langford is doing ok.

Hating on this dude is just plain sad. He has been nothing but class.

  6. Dude is like Smartacus-lite. You love him on your team but hate him on the opponent’s

He plays so out of control sometimes tho

  7. He was fucking fantastic today, bro! I loved it

I know people don’t like him mouthing off about the Celtics (if you can even call it that) but let the guy feel what he feels. I’m happy that he’s found a home and a role in Indy and it’ll be fun to watch that dynamic play out this series

My gut tells me he’s gonna cook in a game or two next series

He fucking stunk when he played here. I fully didn’t expect him to become a rotation player, good on him I guess. I still don’t think he’s that great of a shooter despite shooting 41% from 3 for the year.

He’s also weird in that he’s got bounce and can be fast forwards, but my god he is so uncoordinated going side to side, he’s got like the tightest hips in the world or something. Very odd athletic combination.

I’m just hoping his needlessly reckless play doesn’t injure one of our guys this series. Fuck him, he did jack when he was here, I owe him zero loyalty.

  12. Fuck this dude. He thinks we owe him something cus he was shit when he played for us then we traded him and whenever he’s against us he thinks he’s so good. I hope we demolish the pacers

The fuck are you talking about? Nesmith was awesome with us, but he needed more minutes and shots to develop his output on offense. He got that in Indiana and I’m happy for him.

It is about time for him to get over it though

His new situation is far better for him then it was over here. He should be grateful for the trade and the room it gave for his development.

He would still barely be getting minutes here if he never left

In his current state he could be a Sixth man, maybe.

Tbh despite the draft pitch being that his shot is already good so he’d contribute right away, he really needed some time to play out his mistakes, develop, and calm down a little. When his shots weren’t falling right away it was clear he was all energy and that led to some reckless/sloppy play. I know he’s still got that in him a bit but he’s been in and still is in a better place to work that out with lower expectations. Happy to see him succeed, I’ll probably hate him by the time this series over, but in the respectful way.
