Knicks vs. Pacers FULL REACTION: Was THIS a mistake in Game 7 for the Knicks? | Get Up
the afternoon Monica was there Wendy was there felt like the whole world was at the Garden yesterday Tyrese halber he changed his clothes before the post game I’ll tell you that we’ll get to that oh Josh Hart OG an anobi played an anobi limping around out there Allah Willis Reed what’ you think of it Wendy I couldn’t believe he played in this game when he when he ran in Ran forget about that when he shuffled in from the tunnel the crowd was cheering and the Pacers were going they’re not actually going to play him are they and they absolutely attacked him like crazy Rick Carlile said the two shots that he hit were tougher than the will Reed shots which is true he had crazy shots but the Pacers were still ahead because they got free looks against him early on and they got their confidence and then Tyrese Halton just started going crazy and the Pacers had a 12-point lead and they would really never look back I mean look you’ve heard people talk around that he’s Steve Nash 2.0 his ability to push speed and create shots that’s what him and TJ mccon did the whole game ters by 15 at the half now the Knicks did make a run here Monica behind Jaylen brunch and they would get it close as eight so you guys know I do the little behind the scenes on the radios this was the moment that I set up the camera cuz I was like are they going to do it you just felt like they might be able to dig deep but the efficiency of the Pacers all night long and of course this moment we believe that’s when Jaylen Brunson broke his left hand uh and was done for the rest of the day and so were the Knicks for the rest of the season great ball movement here from the Pacers when it Knicks cut it to eight they had answers the whole way that makes it a 12-point game in the legs more or just the the Pacers were active they just were the better team yesterday in every way they were and that’s just a casual play made by the Knicks and that situation in the game you just can’t make that play It’s the inbounder fault it’s brunson’s fault TJ McConnell was absolutely Sensational in this entire series he was again yesterday halberton at 26 spiky disappointed again Agony and ecstasy you didn’t think this was a successful year right why do you feel that way and how would you evaluate the year did we win a champ ship did we get close so no that’s just that’s my mindset that’s just how it is we expected to be here this ain’t a surprise for us um you know it’s no fluke we we we expect this from our group and then once we added P we knew that we could really take off so um it doesn’t really matter what anybody thinks except for the people in our travel party 70 80 people who come um cuz I don’t think anybody here picked the Pacers to win the series but happened I have picture proof what are we doing J Brunson yeah I mean previously isn’t this what you love isn’t this what you want like is this not your leader like I’m not up here making any excuses yeah you can sit here and talk about all the injuries you can talk about all the questions we have my hand being broken but every single year I want to win a championship and that should be the standard of Excellence we should set with our team nothing else so we we’ll set that to begin again you covered this series every single day every single practice every single minute what is the single biggest reason the Pacers are going on and the Knicks are going home the Knicks just didn’t have enough by the end of the first off they were already playing basically one guy who started this season as a starter by the end of yesterday’s game they were down like six players there was just no way for them to compete I will say this the Pacers coming in two game seven they most of those guys never seen a game s before on the road and having that kind of shooting performance that was amazing but the Knicks just just weren’t there and the have benefited no doubt by playing the bucks without Giannis and then Dame got hurt and certainly in this series but they had to take it and to win this game under these circumstances to shoot 67% in the garden on a Sunday afternoon game seven they were ready to play and I credit their their leaders and I credit Rick Carl I forget him that leg the first thing you said to me we were sitting in there you know just a couple of guys sitting around the makeup room as couple of guys are known to do and and you the first thing you said to me was lot of credit to the Pacers we we I don’t think we talk enough about how good they were all year long we did we didn’t and they were that team that kind of got lost in the shuffle because you watching their style all year and I’m so impressed first of all Rick carile changing his philosophy as a coach this late in his career to adapt to his roster to adapt to like modern NBA offense that’s not easy for Old School coaches Rick Carlile did it um I was just so impressed with them offensively all year because they’re so hard to guard in the regular season when you have one shoot around to talk about them in a series I thought maybe you know you could adjust to them as the the series went on but that performance they put on yesterday in that first quarter to come out in a game seven with that kind of pressure and shoot the ball like that is a testament to how good they are offensively and how little wasted motion they have so Tyrese hurn came out firing in all cylinders 76% they shot from the field in the first half you kid 76% so that’s your star in a big moment where he’s been a little bit inep scoring really take on it and then T I got to give TJ mcconell a lot of credit man I mean there’s there’s a reason why they loved him so much in Philly I know it’s not a name that’s going to be as sexy that people are going to want to talk about today but he just gets to where he needs to be on the court every single possession and defensively he is constantly in your pocket they set a tone different ways look at the number at the bottom of your screen they wound up having the best shooting game in a playoff game in the history of the NBA that’s an extraordinary statistic when you consider the magnitude of the day and the Pacers go on and we’ll have plenty of time to talk about them as they go up against the C beginning tomorrow night as far as the Knicks are concerned two hot button issues here and again Monica you’re with him every day through the entire season let’s go little picture first do you question the decision to play anobi even the five minutes they did yesterday I don’t and I before I jump into the Nicks though I I agree with legs in that you watch this Pacers squad grow exponentially over the course of this series and kudos to them that’s a really good team I don’t disagree with the decision to play OJ anobi Tom Tibido is not a guy that is just going to push a guy to play I think the culture that this team developed this year the trust the way they were pulling for one another I have a hard time believing that if OJ enopi didn’t want to go he wouldn’t have gone and so I think that was him doing his best effort to be all in for this team for the 4 and a half minutes that it lasted do you think it was a negative he cannot move the Pacers saw it they almost were apologetic of what they had to do to him they made their first four shots against him he could not move Pascal cakam got a got a 17-footer it was a practice shot on the first play of the game and they got four easy baskets who knows if they have this kind of shooting game if they don’t get four easy baskets playing four on five I appreciate that he is trying to come out and give them anything you canot watch him move and say that he should have been out there was done I don’t think that the four baskets that they hit and if you want to do the math it was really a minus two cuz he did hit two threes while he was in there so I mean if you want to call it a wash it’s a wash like I appreciate the effort he didn’t stti it wasn’t a wash he hit those shots and they were and they were cheering but the Pacers were ahead been going for two games like I hear you but they I mean it’s blood in the water you attack that match up whenever the dude was barely able to move on the court but here’s the thing you don’t go to him unless you are absolutely at a deficit in terms of body right so you just you do what you can yeah I agree with a lot of what’s being said here one one thing I want to say is from a player perspective like it’s a different era in that this is usually taken out of their hands completely like during the season this is a game seven ogn and noi guarantee you was fighting to get into this game and in a game seven you’re you’re going to listen to him more and ultimately it’s going to be difficult to keep that guy out of the game My only thing was when I saw him moving at the start of the game I’m saying to myself well they must have seen him in pregame warm-ups right they’re putting him through some sort of a warm-up to look at him that to me should have excluded him from from from play the way he must have looked when they were warming up before the game because the very first trip he started dragging his leg but I I’m not going to sit there and blame tibs or the team OJ anobi had a lot to do with playing in this game and you’re going to give a guy more leeway in a playoff game of this magnitude and to their credit obviously they quickly shut this down after a few minutes and look you’re right seak seen the ball go in early that definitely does change a scorer’s perspective but I don’t think it was going to matter on this day Indiana was just too good too sharp too ready too poised too much depth to way too many bodies well and the Knicks just didn’t have any depth left what’s what’s ironic for those who you know there a lot of people just sort of parachute into the NBA late in the season and into the playoffs the Knicks are where they are got where they got because they were so deep this year that’s the ultimate irony of this team but the injuries started to come and they started to drop like flies and people will ask the question does the coach have something to do with that it is an impossible question to avoid does it mean the answer is yes and we’re going to go in search of that answer as we continue [Music] he

I dont care how many injuries u have…130pts at home? Pathetic effort

This segment still gassing up the Knicks bruh
Mike Breen called the worse game ever he showed biasness and was sad asf at the end 😂😂😂
As a Heat fan loving the fact we don't have to see Spike, Seinfeld,Chris Rock,Marbury, Jay-Z,and the rest of the come from under a rock NY fans. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
In season tournament champions and NBA champions in the same year 😎 let's go Pacers
The whole studio is biased delusional knicks fans still cheering for NY
Knicks bench unit took pacers to game 7 😂😂😂😂 haha u guys are trash
end of the day, reggie miller got the last laugh 😂
Celtics in 5 in east finals. Pacers are 2-5 on the road in playoffs, they will not win one in Boston.
It's just dumb to argue with a female analyst assessing whether an injured pro male athlete should have played or not, it's too nonsensical.
This is not the WNBA…
She will never know because biology…
Knicks fans: We're nothing like Cowboys fans
Also Knicks fans: NEXT YEAR IS OUR YEAR
She is a clown and shouldn't talk basketball
Brunson trying too hard what an act
NAPTOWN VS EREBODY !!
I hate that the 3 of them act like they beat a complete and healthy team. The ONLY all star fractured his hand in the 3rd. Their best perimeter defender played 5 minutes. Why are you bragging and giggling talking about 'nobody had us winning this series'? YEAH, bc you OBVIOUSLY WOULDN'T have won this series if those guys were healthy. You were down 3-2 to a team with 5 DOGS and only 1 star. You shouldn't be so braggadocios.
Why would Brunson even make that contest? Foul high so the player can’t get an and 1 if you real want to foul.
OG he Could barely walk
Quick, someone call a search party for Stephen A. Man is missing big time.
Celtics better annihilate pacers
Stephen A somewhere with his lips poked out 😂😂😂😂😂
Watch the pacers get swept.
Not much any team is gonna do, if the other team shoots 67% from the field.
Knicks need to work on the basics. Dribbling, passing, shooting
Monica your team lost…get over it
Pacers got lucky first round and second round lets face it, a fully healthy Knicks squad wins this series. A fully healthy Bucks team beats the Pacers. Celtics will obliterate the Pacers
So Paul pierce is unjustified for that bogus reaction
There has to be a revolution in diet or how professionals approach players and their health. Even in soccer teams are being plagued with injuries
Congrats to my home team Pacers 🎉🎉 They are a young team I just hope they stay together for a long time.
Ok, Let’s think about it this way…
If two teams that the national media believes are rougher, tougher & play with credibility AND are likely to unseat the Celtics as the best in the east…lose star player after star player to a team going thru the playoffs, there has to be a story there. Wait, hold on, these are soft tissue injuries on the lower extremities, abdominal muscle injuries, foot injuries, hand injuries…this team they are playing must be the Bad Boy Pistons or a Pat Riley led franchise…right?
Opponent star players have been not able to finish the series against this team. A DNF? Is there a Draymond Greene type enforcer out there for this team? The defensive player of year?
No. Literally, the pace of play, the total number of trips up & down the court, the passing rotations around the half court offense and picking up 94 feet by the 2nd unit are the 2024 version of when the no-huddle spread offense hit college football with RG3. Did i mention the 3 pointers…
Dame, Giannis, Brunson, OG, Hart all missed time unable to continue medically. And Portis missed time due to ejection bc of frustration.
I am not suggesting that the 2024 Pacers are an all time, legacy NBA team but credit is due that opponents have not been able to outlast them…to this point.
Eat a bucket of penises, Disney/ESPN.
I have never seen more ignorant comments than these after a knicks loss. 😐
We Had 6 people injured. Let’s see them verse the Celtics
Bucks and the Knicks was not fully healthy the Pacers and Celtics had a easy ride this year
“Tom tib is not the guy to push a guy to play…” must have forgot about DROSE HUH
When the pacers win the championship, yall still gonna find a reason to say they suck
Didn’t Tibs ruin drose career?! Playing OG was not the answers
Just wait be patient what will go wrong all go wrong with the Knicks 😂😂
Tyrese is soft. Boston in 5
Did Steven A call in sick today? 😂😂😂 ESPN y'all are lame for d riding the Knicks all series
Maybe you shouldn’t have rigged the 1984 draft knicks all that bad karma preventing you from ever winning another championship
Knicks complain about injuries but haliburton has been playing through that hamstring injury lingering and we're missing Mathurin our highest pick in three decades who was an important piece in our rotation
Brunson non stop flopping finally caught up to him. Sorry not sorry
Man this show is done now knicks are out of the playoffs
"CHOOOOOOKKKKEEEE!!! My condolences to MSG and Knickz fanz." ~ Reggie Miller, 5.19.24
All you have to do is listen to what people were saying about a possible Knicks vs Celtics. Then listen to what they say now about Pacers vs Celtics. GO KNICKS
100% mistake you moron lol
6:38 ridiculous! Four shots and boom! There’re shooting almost 70% the entire game!
I can't believe that shot by Nimhard really changed the series. They were one miss away from the ECF. 🤯
all I hear is a salty host
