Houston also could look to acquire future draft picks, such as Brooklyn’s array of assets courtesy of the Phoenix Suns/Kevin Durant trade. The Houston Chronicle first reported the Rockets’ interest in the Suns’ unprotected first-round picks (Brooklyn has ownership of 2025, ’27 and ’29 Phoenix firsts in addition to swaps beginning in 2028). Per team sources, the Rockets will re-engage with the Nets leading up to the June 26 draft.

At this point the third overall pick is the third overall pick, it doesn’t matter that it was from Brooklyn. Now the priority should be getting back ‘25-‘27, but Mikal’s not going anywhere so it’s moot
who the fuck is this karma farming ghoul and why is he so interested in 11 year olds?
I wouldn’t trade the suns picks straight up for the nets picks. I would trade Mikhal for those nets picks but I feel better about investing in some other team’s collapse than our own. That may be illogical but that’s how I see it.
If it’s straight up all our picks for all the sun’s picks I might do it
I have no faith in this front office to put a contending team together and I think the sun’s will at least be competitive if they have booker
Here’s a catch what if booker demands a trade having those suns picks would make the nets a front runner to get him
Hard decision wish it wasn’t marks making it
Losing this pick hurts so much less than even the Crash for 7 pick that ended up being Dame (would’ve prob taken Barnes). This draft sucks so much I can’t think of one guy that I’d want at 3 that I wouldn’t maybe also want at like 10 or 15. They’re all the same tier lol
I could not care less about the 3rd pick in this draft lmao.
