I think it would depend on what they think of tyty Washington. Does he have potential as backup pg? Pat Beverly is 35 may not even be back next year so they will need a legit backup for the future and have very limited ball handlers as it is.
I’d rather just give Tyty Washington a shot than spend a 1st on Kolek. Tyty is younger, the same height, and has just as high upside IMO.
I know it’s unpopular but I’d rather see them target a young athletic guard with that 2nd rounder. AJ Johnson is one that I like, high upside and could have an immediate impact on defense with his length. I honestly see Horst trading the 1st rounder away on draft night.
