The Raptors next undrafted gem is…
the Toronto Raptors have struck gold silver and bronze in the NBA undrafted Heap they hit gold with Fred vanle silver with Chris bue by way of the Golden State Warriors and before certain allegations and off Court troubles derailed that situation Terence Davis was a bronze clearly a bronze so this is a team that is no strangers to finding undrafted gems and even if guys like Ron Harper Jr and Justin champany have’t quite worked out in recent years I could argue that with the Raptors once again finding capable development staff and darkov rakovich and his staff that maybe this is something where the Raptors really have to hone in focus and now that you don’t have jonte Porter and Christian coloo on your roster you do have a let’s say a Gap a a hole where you could possibly plug in some Fringe prospects and if you’re not competing for championships next year there’s really no reason to put guys like Thaddius young and you know Garrett Temple necessarily I understand having one or two of those guys but you what I’m trying to say is that roster spots 13 to 17 don’t necessarily need to be veteran Laden and so you can take a few chances on Young Players let’s not also add in the fact that the Raptors don’t have their lottery pick this year so that adds another vacuum so you know the Raptors do have two picks in this draft the 19th pick and the 31st pick but I’m trying to say that there might be a little bit more value somewhere else which is the all to coveted 61st pick which is to say you know there’s a couple things working number one there’s only 58 draft picks so just an FYI if you pick the next you know uh Fred Van B that’s technically the 59th draft pick there’s too much hoopla and too much hangup on this guy’s a draft pick or this is a draft pick sometimes people get freaked out about trading away second round draft picks man the undrafted uh he has been quite Rich lately and as the league gets talented and talented I think you’re going to find uh you know deeper and deeper draft pools in which there will be more undrafted value so let me ask you a series of questions how much would you love a guy like Nas Reed on your roster you’ve been watching the Western Conference Finals um tonight we’re going to definitely be watching it NZ Reed is going to play a huge part in that how much would you like to have that guy on your roster here’s a question for you the Raptors lack of creativity lack of shooting how much would you like to have an Austin Reeves off your roster next year or you know the lack of spacing wouldn’t you mind you know if he was a little bit more fairly priced a Duncan Robinson what about a you know shot Creator like Christian Wood I’m not a big fan of Christian Wood but he Ser seriously carved himself quite a career what about a Jose Alvarado okay you know like a jitterbug type of backup guard we like we like Jose Alvarado Jose Alvarado is better than anything the Raptors have had a backup point guard for a while now um what about a defensive stopper like a Lou Dort you know like Lou Dort like you saw what Lou Dort did to LCA donic although I think that’s a little bit overrated he’s definitely one of the best defensive players in the league and he’s part of if not one of the biggest parts of what the OKC Thunder do defensively wouldn’t you like that guy how about an Alex Caruso one of the best defensive players in the league you know a first team second team perennial all defensive guy or you know what about TJ McConnell you know a lot of people been talking about TJ McConnell he’s been a huge driver of success for the Indiana Pacers would love a TJ McConnell on this team next year or what about a Caleb Martin you know the Miami Heat Circa 2022 2023 playoff version of Caleb Martin you know a slasher Defender you know um guess what all those guys have in common they were undrafted and I don’t even talk about the big undrafted you know guys that Everyone likes to talk about the Bruce Bowens the you know Fred Van vets the Ben Wallace’s um you know Brad Miller who was an Allstars an undrafted guy there’s been a lot of talent that’s been undrafted you know who else was undrafted eoko was undrafted right so I mean when you go out through the through the history of the league John Starks was undrafted I mean there’s a lot of guys who’ve been undrafted and again as I said as the league Talent gets deeper and deeper we’re going to see more and more more talents in that in that area of the draft so what I’ve done here is I have honed in to six players with a bonus player that I don’t realistically think is going to get drafted but I love him so I wanted to talk about him a little bit we’re going to use Kevin ooc Conor’s draft guide as a bit of a scouting Amendment I’ll tell you why I think they fit into what the Raptors do and you know let’s get into it and I want to I want to really start to hone in on certain things that the Raptors are going to prioritize specifically especially later in the draft you’re not going to find perfect prospects in this place right you’re going to find prospects with broken jump shots or if they’re not broken jump shots then they’re going to have a tremendous question mark about their jump shot you’re going to find guys with size issues age issues you know maybe the guys 23 you’re going to find guys with transfer issues you’re going to find guys who’ve been in like you know three four different programs you’re going to find guys with maybe some questionable you know off court stuff you might find under producing freshmen there’s a couple of those in here you’re going to probably find guys who maybe didn’t measure too well you’re going to maybe find guys who have um defensive questions I mean who doesn’t have defensive questions a lot of prospects have defensive questions Rob Dillingham is a terrible Defender and some people think he’s going to be a top five pick so what you’re looking for here is Bare Bones like a skeleton of something that you can develop into something you know I think that’s what they looked for when you looked at Justin champeny you know he had long arms he had kind of like a oh there’s another thing you’re gonna find tweeners you’re gonna find a ton of tweeners here you’re G to find undersized fours and you’re GNA find like undersized fives undersized ones there’s going to be a ton of like undersized twos especially there’s a ton of those in the undrafted so what you have to find is the market advantage or the competitive advantage or Market inefficiency really is what you’re looking for a market inefficiency you’re looking for a player who can overcome their perceived disadvantage so you might say this guy shot 29% from three but look at his free throw percentage look at his shot spin everything’s good or you might find a guy who’s 6’5 and he’s a big but you might see a vision in which he can transition over to the wing or you see him as like a Draymond type you know a guy who can overcome his you know vertical limitations with length and smarts I don’t know so these are the players that I think have some appeal and also there’s some historical precedent in terms of what the Raptors typically look for in prospects now I’ve rambled for seven minutes and I haven’t told you about a single one of these prospects and actually developed this entire I created an entire vid video slide presentation for this so this is going to move pretty swiftly and I want to be done in this video less than 30 minutes no Callins uh we might if there’s some super chats or something we’ll answer those at the end um but let’s get to it so first and foremost what are we looking for we’re looking for the next fret isn’t that ironic right and we’re going to start out with you know a guy who has no chance of being the next Fred but may have a lot of talent which is DJ Wagner right the WAN Wagner’s son Dewan Wagner Jr grew up in Camden Jersey had a really abysmal freshman season at Kent Kentucky then we’re going to talk about Florida State sophomore um we’re going to talk about Florida State FR uh sophomore Boba Miller right really really hyped guy who came into last year’s you know draft cycle as a potential Lottery Pick and then you know he had a really bismal season Florida state had a terrible season they lost like a ton of games and you know this is Scotty’s alma mater a lot of you know connections here between the Toronto Raptors and Florida State from the Scotty draft and that that that relationship has continued and you know the Raptors did hit gold the last time they took a Florida State guy but hey baba Miller is not Scotty Barnes but he does have some Scotty Barnes stuff and you know could fit in really well with what the Raptors like to do um if you’re looking for a draft comp a lot of people like to compare him to a uh a Kyle Anderson type but I think he’s a he’s a very different type of athlete and I really like him um moving on you get another Scotty you know uh guy which is really West Palm Beach guy Jonathan mogbo and I’m probably mispronouncing that to hell but you know University of San Francisco he’s been in a few different programs four different programs he had a really huge year but he is like an older Prospect um then you have Adam Bona from UCLA you know um who we are we were supposed to talk about but I think GNA have to pull up his um if I’m not mistaken I forgot to add him to the slide so we’re going to talk about him last then you have DJ Wagner who has lost 45 pounds and he swears it’s not AIC uh NC State went to the final four really crafty score but you know probably some very very big questions and I think this will come straight down to workouts but he is a hell of a player man like in terms of like his ability to get up and down the court with his you know perceived limitations and a lot of people compared to Zach Randolph I’m sure he retains a lot of the fluidity and a lot of the post you know strength that he had but maybe he’s just cut down some like really really bad weight so that should be good um and then of course Isaiah Crawford um a scout I really trust uh compared him to OG anobi like a really poor man’s ogj an anobi and he said he moves like him he has like very OG stuff and I think this might be a case of maybe going too far into the looks Department because a lot of mck drafts do not even have this guy in the second round some places don’t even have in top 70 he is a five-year guy and so he is you know he’s old ER and his growth at Louisiana Tech maybe leaves a lot to be desired but he did shoot 41% from three last year and he is an incredible Defender so all right um and then we got bronie James who probably won’t go undrafted but you know it’ll be fun to talk about him anyway so let’s just get to this okay so um I’m use Kevin OC Conor’s ringer draft guide to uh talk about bronny here and okay so just read this out real quick so in terms of pluses uh with with bronnie you know it’s it’s a good it’s a good frame and length right so he is a little bit longer than he is tall but he’s not a pure pure point guard I’m leaving this up for anybody to just read this is Kevin OC Conor’s draft guide I agree with most of everything that’s written here I’m not going to read it out but to go on a basic thing like he’s not he wasn’t nearly as assertive as he would have liked him to be USC had a really really bad year last year I don’t think he’s necessarily the only responsibility for it like he’s not necessarily responsible for it but there are too many times where you expected someone who was this smart to maybe go outside of the offense and create a little bit more he wasn’t really good at that um he is a really good Defender though a lot of people have compared him to Davon Mitchell I think that’s a pretty apt comparison Davon did shoot like crazy percentages in college and Brony James was not that so he shot 19.6% uh of his 5 46 catch and shoot three-point attempts so not encouraging but it’s encouraging that he does have a pretty smooth looking jump shot and you know I mean if you’re looking at like a plus if he’s going to be in your 905 that makes your 9 of5 an instant draw is it going to be a distraction I don’t know probably that might be something you be concerned about but from everything that I’ve seen and everything that I’ve read he doesn’t have like a primadonna attitude he’s not lamelo ball you know driving off kid driving over kids legs and [ __ ] like it’s not it’s not going to be that and I don’t think they’re going to fa face that necessarily that type of um um you know pressure necessarily right like I don’t think you’re going to um sorry I’m hearing seeing a lot of um did I did I say did I say something about DJ that everyone’s correcting this DJ Smith not dj Wagner huh I I don’t understand what’s going on here in the chat but maybe I should just ignore it okay so overall I think that this is a really fluid athlete who could really thrive in transition look everything about transition comes down to Quick decisions we talk 0 five offense 0 five offense requires like cerebral basketball players this is a yeah you said DJ Wagner and spelled it wrong where did I say DJ Wagner sorry like I’m just trying to understand where the hell we went here okay that is DJ Wagner how did I spell that wrong did I write DJ Wagner again for DJ Burns sorry I’m just trying to understand what the hell you’re talking about but okay um who is DJ Smith who is DJ Smith okay I am so confused hold on I I got to see this again again oh shoot I wrote I wrote DJ Wagner my bad d uh DJ Burns gez okay my bad okay let’s move on um so yeah so overall I think if bronnie James does go undrafted I am very firmly on the camp of like yes his analytics sucked his numbers were pretty terrible and we can look at his numbers here uh they were pretty bad like you’re talking about a positive defensive blocks is minus but negative across the board of 47% true shooting as a gift did athlete you don’t want to see that ever per 100 possessions like really low volume shooting with really inefficient numbers inefficient around the rim um and yeah like he wasn’t necessarily like that primary you know point guard type right he was more of like a connective guy so I don’t necessarily see think that people are seeing him as like an elite point guard they’re seeing him more like a guard facilitator so it’s a tough place to be I’m not necessarily sure like he’s com he’s necessar like a pure point guard even though you could see him as that but defensively I think his ability to get around screens was really impressive to me his sort of hip flexibility his commitment to that end of the floor like you would expect the son of LeBron to be like very white collar in terms of how he approaches basketball but I found him to be very blue collar I found him diving on the ball I find him to be like a very uh good teammate so I think like I don’t know I think he’s just trying to be his own person and you know again like I’m not necessarily a big believer in blood lines or anything like that you know it’s very possible to be a great basketball player and have a son who’s not great at basketball but I do think a lot of the being around the game and learning the game and thinking about the game stuff um is very important and the fact that you don’t have to teach that to a 19-year-old is impressive so I would look at him hardcore uh to table my 905 team and again he’s just not a he’s not a high volume guy he’s not going to take over the offense or whatever and um you know if you have Gunners off your bench maybe that’s that’s useful right um Penny Hardway 24 saying bronny is a poor man’s Davon Metro should have went back to college not ready um Davon was 24 when he got drafted uh so yeah also there is of course the added concern of the cardiac arest but the NBA did clear him um so he’s medically cleared to play in the NBA um moving on to DJ Burns um look like this is a 5-year guy um not I don’t think most people see him as necessarily A an NBA Prospect I wonder how much him losing 45 pounds changes anything says he’s been on for five a weeks um or three a days or whatever he’s been doing some crazy work uh I saw some of the pictures he looks physically transformed his footwork was awesome um he was an absolute load in the uh March Madness um his number took a massive jump up um he plays in the ACC this is no joke okay like physicality be Dam to 5.7 boxes minus in the ACC is not you know it’s not nothing um and given the fact that he was playing significantly out of shape um he’s had better years like his last year winr up he had a 63% true shooting that true shooting percentage did dip and that’s not necessarily the greatest thing for a guy his size to be 55% true shooting in the ACC not necessarily great I’m curious to see like him as a screener and him as a shooter where is that going to be he didn’t really take too many threes right like he took like if he has some sort of untapped shooting potential right and maybe a little bit more defense like I’m just you know when you lose 45 pounds you’re a different player like a lot of your advantages are not there that bump and grind you know type of stuff that he was able to do in the post maybe it’s not there um and then you know um he said it’s most like he said it’s not OIC so yeah so we’re just not going to go there but yeah um anyways I I I do think this is more of a you know feeler for an exhibit 10 bring him to bring him to summer league and see what happens type of thing I’m not suggesting a two-way for DJ uh DJ Burns but um Penny Hardway saying props to DJ Burns for losing all that weight facts okay Jonathan Mugo like the there two years in which he did not really register any minutes so I left those two off but this is his fourth year um and his fourth year was his best year so his fourth year per 100 possessions kind of crazy production and I did watch a lot of tape on him because Scotty’s been posting about him pretty much non-stop for like two years and um he went through the combine and I think he did fairly well there in terms of you know what he did um 28.8 points uh and 20.6 rebound rounds per 100 possessions is insanity 7.4 assists 3.2 steals 1.7 blocks his insane Advanced analytics um would lead you to believe that he was like basically Superstar level um against that level of competition and like like he came into this year pretty much like guaranteed to go undrafted and he’s worked himself up to um he’s worked himself up to solidly second round I think someone’s going to take a flyer on him um an 11.1 box plus minus you know with 6.9 win shares on a 22% usage he did a lot of this through hustle 29% defensive rebounding percentage which means he just grabbed just about everything with a 31.2 PR and a 65% true shooting like we are talking about one of the most insanely productive players in college basketball um so why is he not a first round pick for most people well I think a lot of people have concerns about the shooting although when you watch his pro day um he’s just wetting them from the corners and you know if that is the potential that he does possess he does possess shooting potential um you know this is a different situation so let’s just take a look quickly at his free throw shooting um he got up to about 69% so there is some let’s call it like rapid acceleration from four to go from 43% to 69% as a free throw shooter shows me that he has worked a hell of a lot on his free throw shooting and if he has come in one step further you know again with the West Palm Beach connection he’s one of Scotty’s really good friends you might see the Raptors as a really good you know potential landing spot I’ll give you some other you know tidbits on him that I really like um Noble Venom hey I was wondering sometime during this stream maybe you could react to the ringer newly released under 25 rankings I haven’t seen it but um sure I could um just remind me towards the end um yeah let’s just get through this real fast and then I’ll give you my reaction to it I haven’t seen it so curious um you know again transition athlete like I I I did jot down some notes about him but just an incredible um so four teams in Four Seasons is always a red flag right for a lot of people that’s just like hey like why is this that this guy not fitting in you could look at it a different way if you want if you if you have the character insight into him and you know that he’s not a bad dude and he just maybe didn’t fight find the right situation or maybe he was just betting on himself to find a better situation well he did find it because in his fourth year he blossomed right um you know there are encouraging signs to his shooting again as I said as a at his pro day he was hitting a lot of Threes And of course the form is not great in my opinion but also not broken I think there is like a disjointedness to his form but I think it can be fixed um will he ever be a great shooter no but could he be like a passable 33 34 % you know Corner shooter someday I think he could um he’s almost 23 years old so that maybe doesn’t work too well in his favor he’s very efficient and he can put the ball on the floor he can run it up in transition a little bit watch some of his scrimmage highlights he was like really like pushing it in transition like so maybe like you know I think he’s a lot smarter than transition uh uh he’s a lot smarter than press suchu in my opinion just watching them play he not quite the athlete that precious say but he’s not a bad athlete feels a little vertical not super fluid you know but uh could probably have some switchability there really good lob threat um and as I said just a really good transition player really knows how to fill Lanes really knows how to set screens um and his shoulders make me think that he might have some potential to become a center down the line like a really undersized Center like maybe a cavon looney like if he really really fills out could he be like cavon loony with like a little bit more skill like he’s got Insanity like you just don’t teach his nose for the basketball and again his ability to run and his notes for the basketball means that he is exactly what undrafted gems look like so I don’t know if he’s going to go undrafted um SP saying would you take him at 31 no I wouldn’t but if we had a pick in the 40s or 50s I would be looking at him pretty hard um I mean [ __ ] if the jump shot’s real maybe you do have to look at him at 41 um this is DJ Wagner not dj Burns and you know he had a pretty abysmal uh you know year overall I think he’s a little bit undersized I think he sometimes struggles on the defensive end but you know what there is one thing that people always talk about with Kentucky guards which is you know you never bet you never um you never expect them to be worse as Pros than they were in college like so you know this is uh this is um I’m just going to leave this up for anybody but I just give you my thoughts on him um came into the season as like pretty much a lock for for the lottery like a top five top six pick fell hard shooting percentages were abysmal from all places on the court um you could definitely say the defense was a massive concern probably a bit of a smaller athlete not really sure where he fits in as a kind of combo guard couldn’t really get his own shot off necessarily well he is ambidextrous he does you know Finish Well around the rim at times but then there are times where he kind of zones out of the game there’s a lot of concerns about him so maybe you need to you know inquire as to see like hey is he a little bit closer to the guy we saw in college or is he a little bit closer to the guy we saw in high school because the guys if if he’s closer to the guy we saw in high school then you take him at 31 you take him on drafted you take them wherever because that dude was serious um you know as a transition athlete and as a bucket getter and just a guy who can Shifty get his own shot uh the Raptors have a lack of that on their roster they don’t have a lot of guys who can put paint pressure they don’t have a lot of guys who can just get their shot off the bounce they often end up relying on guys like Javon Freeman Liberty and you know Gary Trent Jr to do it well I mean you know here’s a young player who has that skill set in his bag like are we sure the deficiencies are as serious as they are was it a byproduct of you know maybe playing in KY system um he was the third guy you know Rob Dillingham and uh Reed Shepard came into this season probably as like considered lower prospects they vaulted up to like Lottery status while he vaulted down to like second round pick status and that’s hard to believe was it a matter of fit is it easy for a guy like this to fit on a roster which is like that right so maybe there is some sort of untapped potential if you can get him in the right situation right um another situation of basketball Bloodlines that that somehow have to do with the Cleveland Cavaliers bronny James the son of LeBron James dwan Wagner Junior the SE uh and both Juniors as well and ironically DJ Wagner um you know it’s a son of dwan Wagner dwan was like I mean I think he scored 108 points in a high school game once he was one of the most like before LeBron uh Dewan was it like in terms of like people can I I swear to God this is like true story dwan Wagner used to have a nickname the Messiah um people used to compare him to alen Iverson so you know not not putting too much stock into that obviously his dad is his own person and he’s his own person but um there’s a lot of you know there’s a lot of basketball uh in DJ’s life this just put it that way he’s been around the game since he was a really young kid so you know maybe you you take that as a notch against him especially when you’re comparing him to kids you know from other countries who maybe picked up basketball four years ago you’re like [ __ ] this guy’s been around basketball since he 5 years old he still doesn’t have a jump shot um I don’t know I think it’ll come down a lot to workouts and maybe like some scrimmages and just seeing like hey seeing him outside of Kentucky do we see some possible you know um boom potential because I tell you Devon Booker didn’t look like Devon Booker at Kentucky I’ll tell you that right now um he went down to 13th you know like Kentucky guards tend to slip right Emanuel quickley is the same thing Emanuel quickley went down to 25 and you could argue he’s a top six player in that draft so you know it it does it does hinge anyways now we get to the OG and anobi clone which I mean I put in air quotes because I don’t really think he is a um you know OG and an Obi type but I do think I see some three and D potential in him and that could be maybe just maybe this is like a herb Jones in the making right an extremely disruptive Defender extremely disruptive who has like extremely good measurables um and he was just really productive uh per 100 possessions in his final year at Louisiana Tech he gave him 29 Points you know he got to the line a lot nine attempts per game um not the greatest three-point shooting volume he did have the highest in his sophomore year but you know 5.6 and he’s been consistently good three out of his five years uh from three so the jump shot is pretty real right and this last year was the first time he did it on above 5.5 per 100 um that’s not bad right that’s not too bad like he gets to the line he hits threes um you know and look at the look at the steel numbers dude that is insanity 3.8 Steels per 100 possessions and 3.1 blocks per 100 possessions like this is a guy who is like a human like eraser he just has some insane abilities uh to be a disruptor defensively um so I would be very very curious to see um other people looking him up watching some of his tape and seeing what you feel about him you know um in terms of his Advanced analytics he did manage to put up an 8.3 uh box ofpinus um this in his final year again older prospects do tend to get you know sort of crucified in the stage but the fact that someone with his defensive upside and his disruptive potential and the fact that he can shoot um again as well as he can from three certainly someone is going to find some value in this guy but I am surprised that how many times I have seen a mock draft and I have almost never seen him on one so right down to 60 no one seeing the value in this guy I think this could be you know um this could be like a really interesting player uh to look at if he goes undrafted um we can probably do some film sessions at some point I I don’t want to necessarily get demonetized given what happened like um hey thanks a lot here man um Kevin Rio uh congrats on the 10K subs thank you so much appreciate that man um the final PRP we got to talk about is Baba Miller man and this is the guy that I think I have I have watched the most Baba Miller of any of these players and I got to tell you I watched his tape from in Europe like when he was when he was over there before he came over to Florida State University and I just remember thinking to myself God damn it this guy is fluid he is fluid as hell right he moves he passes like a guard and I’m sense because he was a guard he was a guard and then he had a late growth spurt he has a bit of a handle um he’s not a super athlete he’s a coordinated athlete though his coordination for a guy who’s 6 foot1 with a 72 wingspan is absolutely insane what is the concern then with Baba Miller right I mean you could argue the first season of Florida State went about as horribly as you could ever imagine a negative 3.2 uh boxes minus for a guy who came into that system basically like a lottery pick You could argue also there’s a bit of a culture shock element here he’s not from there um and you know there was a lot of controversies he had to catch on late he kind of entered their season I think 10 12 games into the season they were already like in tail spin at that point Who’s he really playing with blah blah blah but this year has been a lot better so technically the improvement from last year to this year has not necessarily made him like some sort of like Elite Lottery Prospect again right but if you look at the actual improvement from last year to this year he’s made about as big a jump as any player in the nation um and he retains every bit of what made him so tantalizing his Prospect to begin with and that is partially his size his vision his coordination and potentially somewhere down the line his defensive upside um again nothing that is going to jump out at you like crazy right he is a pretty decent rebounder he is not a great rebounder he is a pretty decent athlete he’s not a great athlete it’s not a great time to be a generalist instead of a specialist but if you could specialize at one thing his floor is so high on all his other skill sets and again this is where certain prospects you know I think um Darko rakovich had this quote earlier this year you know if you do one thing you know maybe you can stick in the league if you can do two things maybe you’re an All-Star if you can do three things you’re a superstar if you can do four things you’re in Europe something like that Baba Miller is a guy who can do a lot of things and it’s very impressive to watch and I wonder if you know he’ll stay in the drafts because if he doesn’t get you know a second round promise or a first round promise then I don’t really see why he shouldn’t go back to Florida State and maybe try again but again this is a this is a weaker draft this is a weaker draft class and again another Florida State element here um I think the Toronto Raptors will you know have a bit of insight into him that maybe uh other teams won’t because of their pre-existing relationship Scotty Barnes lard Hamilton Etc if you need to know about Baba Miller’s attitude and practice I mean I’m sure I could even find like a couple of really credible people to talk talk about that um I can tell you his teammates really like him that he is a really coachable young man that he takes instruction really well that he’s super humble and he’s a really hard worker so you know um yeah I I I just really like him again size to skill is a massive massive uh thing for me and here just take a look at Kevin o Conor’s uh draft guide analysis on Baba Miller and I’ll just leave that up on the screen as I talk a little bit so I’m going to pull up the ringer top 25 under 25 as per Noble Venom’s request earlier and you know I’ll give you my live reaction to it I don’t like live reacting to things because sometimes I I feel like maybe I should digest things a little bit more but I have a feeling when I hate it really like a lot um okay let’s check it out where is it oh here we go okay so let’s bring it up on the screen screen share oh boy okay let me guess uh Luca number one Anthony Edwards number two no wemi number one Luca number two Anthony Edwards number three I’m just guessing off top of my head that’s like oh they’re going 25 to okay Jabar Smith Jr I don’t know like I like Jabari a lot um darus Garland he fell a lot okay I get it I get it Desmond Bane I think this is too low for Desmond Bane immediately this is being a prisoner of the moment are you [ __ ] kidding me right now Desmond Bane below Jaylen green are you absolutely out of your [ __ ] mind wow okay yes lamelo ball okay jiren Jackson Jr is like that’s very very low for jiren Jackson Jr dude um I Brandon Miller wow okay so Brandon Miller ahead of lamelo ball ahead of fron Vagner Brandon Miller ahead of fron Vagner um no no no no way in hell is that happening Evan Moy I I think Evan Moy has fallen a lot um oh my God Trey young wow okay all right we’re how do you put the worst player on this list ahead of Trey okay let me get this straight you think that Kade Cunningham this stupid ass list thinks that Kade Cunningham is better than Evan Moy jiren Jackson Jr Darius Garland Brandon Miller lamelo ball are you [ __ ] kidding me you think Kate Cunningham is better than France Vagner what this might be the dumbest list in the history of the world who wrote this bro what wow I don’t even want to know why you came up to [Music] that oh man all right Scotty number 13 all right well you know I respect ALR shingon I think shon’s great Scotty’s better um love job Morant I’d rather have Scotty Zion Williamson great picture man great picture but [ __ ] I’d rather have Scotty uh for sure um Paulo I’d rather have Scotty for sure um Jaylen Williams yeah I get it I get it a lot you know there’s a lot of reasons to believe that he’s going to be a better player than Scotty I I prefer Scotty over him Chad homr is the first place where it starts to get a little bit interesting in terms of like where you would go Tyrese Maxi I get it he doesn’t defend and you know again the additional year of experience hard um hard to rationalize Scotty Barnes over these guys right now given you know where his weaknesses are but I’d rather Scotty over all these guys personally being a raptor Homer fine Luca at four is possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in my life it is so dumb if you put put Anthony Edwards over Luca Don you are absolutely [ __ ] out of your mind Shay over Luca ant over Luca oh my god you dumb asses the only person I would put over Luca is uh Victor wanyama and that is even very very very controversial so yeah this list is insane congratulations you just watch me lose my mind and probably uh 10,000 brain cells while we’re at it the most egregious part of that list to me is um Kate Cunningham like where he is is crazy to me um Desmond Bane how disrespectful that is dude Desmond Bane Is For Real he’s a really good player that’s crazy jiren Jackson Jr being that low um I get it I get it but that’s a that’s like a dude okay like don’t be a prisoner in the moment and say you know like what kind of terrible season they had like that was a guy who just won Defensive Player of the Year and put Kate Cunningham over him if Kade Cunningham is ever as good a player as jiren Jackson Jr was two years ago I’ll give you Kudos like real Kudos I will straight up apologize it’s not g to happen stupidest thing I think I’ve ever seen in my life that’s crazy Rob Catch saying really enjoy your passion day and night you are there appreciate it man thanks a lot um Luca four is the most ridiculous thing on this list Scotty too [ __ ] low man should be top 10 bro he is he should be pushing top five um Jaylen green also a little bit high in my opinion like no disrespect to Jaylen green I just I think like he had a really good turnaround but like what are we doing here fron Vagner also really low Evan Mobley also pretty damn low um I understand you know being a prisoner of the moment and saying like oh well you know Evan mble he had a really tough playoff series well you know a lot of these guys were sitting at home you know like some of them might be sitting in jail soon so like get real with that James saying Luca don’t play defense he’s not a two-way okay so like neither does cade what what the [ __ ] does he do on this list um also this concept of like LCA doesn’t play defense whatever like okay all right you know there’s there’s a lot of elite players who don’t play very much defense and Luca’s Elite offensive skill set should put him at a completely different category like I’m sorry like it’s just he’s he’s too good dude he just finished top three in MVP voting and he finished outside of the top three on this list make it make sense give me think about that 10 times a day a guy finishes okay a guy wins Defensive Player of the Year and cannot make top 15 under 25 a guy finishes top three in MVP voting that year and most people swear he should have [ __ ] won the award so he could be like the MVP of the league and honestly he had he had the strongest case against joic and he can’t finish top three on this stupid ass list the ringer man where brain cells go to die all right peace out guys and thanks a lot for the super chats guys I really appreciate it cheers and uh I will see you guys after Dallas and Minnesota and if Luca puts up a 40 or 50 piece we can definitely have a laugh about it and if Luca is terrible uh because the Dallas Mavericks have the most abysmal game one record of like any team that I’ve recently that I can think of then you know maybe this will maybe this ringer thing will seem prophetic but I promise you Luca donic a lot better than [ __ ] like a lot better than this list claims he is
The Toronto Raptors have struck gold, silver and bronze in the NBA’s undrafted heap. They hit gold with Fred VanVleet, silver with Chris Boucher, and bronze with Terrance Davis. This is a team that’s NO STRANGER to finding undrafted gems. And even if guys like Ron Harper and Justin Champagnie haven’t quite* worked out, one could argue that with the Raptors once again capable of developing talent, and with a huge Koloko and Porter sized-hole in their prospect stable, not to mention the loss of their 6th pick to San Antonio, that the Raptors could look to find some talent in the undrafted heap.
Here’s a list of notable NBA players you may not realize were undrafted. TJ McConnell. Caleb Martin. Jose Alverado. Lu Dort. Alex Caruso. Naz Reid. Austin Reaves. Duncan Robinson. Rob Covington. Christian Wood. Maxi Kleber. Ime Udoka. Brad Miller. Bruce Bowen. Ben Wallace.
What do they have in common with 6 players I want to talk about? A lot.

I would like to see us come out of this Draft with a Centre .. a Guard and a Wing
Thanks for the live famo!
Bronny to Lakers at 55 given a two way but playing with the big team 40-50 games with Lakers. South Bay very close. This keeps L J where is a good fit and does not have to move. This also does not hurt roster depth.
justin champagnie had norm potential… that was a good one we let go for no reason
James Barlowe of NBA big board was singing his praises, says Crawford should be drafted is a beast defensively but has been overlooked because of his age.
You like Florida State so much surprised you never mentioned Jamir Watkins he moves like Scottie and no one is talking about him, except locked on Raptors he loves him.
People have to change their old takes about Luka he's been decent this year on defense, he is a big boy who can stop others when he wants to, and when it matters he wants to. Should be 2 on the list. SGA 3. Ant 4.
Great video but we’re drafting Mogbo at 31
