Bub is very talented, but he doesn’t get to the basket and is wildly inconsistent. I would place him firmly behind Jared McCain and Devon Carter.

People are just catching up on Bub recently ig. I think he goes in the lottery on draft night.

One of the youngest players in the draft, shot creator, great positional size with broad shoulders to add to his frame. Shot looks good, rebounds well for a guard, low turnover % and good assist %(really good decision maker), went from a bad defender to a decent defender over the course of one season.

Don’t be fooled by the low shooting percentages, he was an 18 year old who was top of the opposing teams scouting report in the acc, playing 30 mins a night and asked to create for both himself and his teammates. He will have a much easier shot diet as a young player in the NBA.

  3. I think 20 is his ceiling, i wouldnt be surprised if a team falls in love with him and he goes high. His fit on the spurs would be insane.

I guess we’re at that time of the year where all of guys, me and other draft heads have been pointing as dark horses become everyone’s new favorite.

Everyone else has already said anything. I can add more or less. But bub Is frankly a very inconsistent, still raw, player whose biggest strengths are his shooting, pick and roll play making, and positional size. But who has been wildly inconsistent with those two skills and doesn’t always take advantage of said length and size.

In theory has the athleticism needed to get to the rim but only seemed to be able to figure out how to use it like every fourth game or so and very frequently would dribble himself around the perimeter before taking a difficult contested jump shot.

For a team with a ton of patience, he could offer real boom capabilities. Guys his size with his combination of confidence, shot, making potential, and potential as a playmaker are rare.

But there are frankly just guards in this class who are probably a better combination of reliable floor, and still solid ceiling that I would take before him.

Topic, Castle, dillingham, Shepherd, McCain, Devin Carter Are all guys I would take before him at 8.

Now if the Spurs want to get themselves a third first round pick, he’s the kind of swing for the fence’s prospect I would love, but I just don’t love him at 8
