They have been going on a run whenever he is on the court every game in this playoffs. He can facialate zone or switch, can contest a wide variety of shots moving around. On the offense he rolls better, moves better in the paint dislocating bigs and opening lanes.

He’s just so much better than gafford on the short roll, and the wolves started blitzing luka towards the end of the 4th which makes it all the more important. He still had that turnover when he travelled after catching it but I’d still take him over gafford making those decisions 10/10 times.

Literally the only reason he isn’t starting over gafford js because the mavs have something good going and don’t want to mess with it
He’s so much better than gafford in virtually every way, it’s actually mind blowing how smart of a decision maker he is and how safe he is with the ball as a 20 year old rookie center
