  1. Glad we went with the younger guy of the candidates. Lots of work to go. I hope the Tellem connections doesn’t negate this man’s full power. I guess we will see how he handles Weaver and Monty. How either keep their jobs I don’t know. Does TL have connections to Monty?

  2. His career high scoring in points was 31 vs the Pistons. I remember that night vividly. No-namers were cooking us regularly.

  3. I definitely think they need to just clean the house and get his own guys on here. Troy and Monty, has to go .

  4. Why do yall keep saying fire Troy weaver if he just the fall guy shouldn’t it be those other 2 idiots yall want fired these fans be so irritating

  5. I wholeheartedly disagree we need to get Darvin Ham and Chauncey as our next head coach. We can get an unproven guy at head coach who was proven on another area or get just get a proven guy.

If you watched David Ham’s tenure in LA there was nothing he was doing to suggest he deserved another chance. As a coach he is the same as Dwayne Casey who is best as a motivator in the assistant role because the actual on court decisions is as bad as Monty this year. He didn’t have good rotations, continuously paused players not playing well, substitutions were off, and lost the locker room quickly. What positive on court game decision gives you a hint he’s a diamond in the rough coach? I think we can look at what Lakers podcasts that were being fair give Ham the same complaints Monty gotten where it was so bad it felt like he was trolling at times. It will come off as us just bringing in a Michigan born guy.

Chauncey may be a good coach, but him being signed is such a “let’s distract fans with nostalgia” hire. There are guys out there that are assistants and other positions that shown more than Chauncey and Ollie.

We should be looking at guys like Heat assistant Chris Quinn, Kenny Atkinson, and former Warriors defensive Coordinator Jarron Collins. Quinn has been under Spoelstra for a long time took over at times. Kenny Atkinson has a proven track record as a coach who has been able to develop a rebuilding young team everywhere he goes. Jarron Collins is who Kerr brought in and let create the Warriors defense during their initial dynasty run. Collins also currently works for the Pelicans.

You can go with a young coach who isn’t stuck in their ways, but that doesn’t mean you just target the least proven or, even worse, the guy who needs to rehabilitate his image after a bad showing. I think going Ham, Chauncey, or Ollie will be too much of a gamble when they tarnished that good will to be given a chance at the head coaching position.

I 100% agree with Troy not being fully to blame. He’s done some good moves and I’m sure he has had guys in his ear and dabbling in his decisions. I think it’s time to let him go because, unlike Langdon, Troy didn’t have assistant GM or GM experience before getting that position. He was a scout jumping into this position. Langdon had assistant GM and GM experience so I would think he would not only want his own guys but also an experienced GM he trust. I don’t Troy staying after Gores gave him an ultimatum in season, yet he still failed there. I think he’s more likely to be gone than return. I think Monty is 90% gone. You don’t make it known that the owner will be willing to eat that contract if Langdon wants to move on if you’re not leaning that way already after coming to an agreement.
