It’s pretty insane just how many players the Celtics have that can kill you. Tatum didn’t have an amazing game but Jaylen and others really stepped up. They are also doing this without Porzingis
The story of this game is and should be how fucking awesome JB was. Just an incredible performance.
That being said. Tatum had such a lackadaisical approach for most of the night. And when he took that elbow fadeaway when he was one on one with McConnell I think I had cartoon smoke coming out of my ears.

I’m shocked that the Pacers just rolled over like that in the 4th. I get Hali got hurt but Siakam was busting our ass tonight, Carlisle pulled him at 9:25 left in the 4th down 17 and he never got put back in the game despite the Celtics not really ever pushing the lead much further than that. like this is the Eastern Conference Finals man, wtf are you doing? I’d be pissed if I was an Indy fan

I get that Haliburton was hurt, but did the Pacers really give up down 13 with over 5 minutes left? This is the Conference Finals, you have the #1 offense in the league, and the Celtics have a history of blowing leads. Keep playing. What the fuck was Carlisle doing?

Really wasted a Siakam hot night. I get it, it’s a free flowing egalitarian offense but if you’re gonna give up so early anyway, shoulda just spammed and let him put up 30 shots and see what happens

If I were Pacers fans, I’d be furious with Rick Carlisle. Imagine sitting your hottest player in Siakam and big man Turner for over half of the fourth quarter when some defensive stops and quick offensive buckets could turn the tide quickly.

I’ve been watching the NBA for over 30 years. I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a team give up like this in a CONFERENCE FINALS game.
Down like 17 with 9 minutes left and you take out Siakam, and not even bring Turner back in?? Then put in Jalen Smith?? Even with 3:15 left they were only up 13 points. Pacers have like the fastest offense in the NBA, they can *easlily* make that up.
