so 8788 is that the best team in the history of the NBA cuz you still got obviously people say Jordan 70 plus or Golden State that didn’t win it correct but are the Lakers the best that was ever assembled that 87 88 team I think so you know and everybody says well you’re a little biased well you know you look at the team that we had you know out there and and this wasn’t a team that was you know like with Kevin Durant who I love you know he goes to uh golden state to join that that super team you know LeBron goes to Miami join these these guys were all you know drafted you know you had one trade really you know that trade was Kareem getting to the Lakers magic magic was drafted by the Lakers James Worthy was drafted by the Lakers I was via trade but you know all those guys kind of came together uh to form which I still think to this day is one of the greatest teams if not the greatest teams ever play basketball um yeah you can definitely argue you know Chicago team I I for me Golden State winning 73 games that year that’s great but you don’t you don’t back it up by winning the championship then it don’t you know it don’t matter to me

Bird's Celtics went toe to toe with the Showtime Lakers. You gotta put them in the discussion too.
Except most of that GS team was drafted. You had Durant & Zaza who were FAs and Iguodala who was a trade, but Steph, Klay, Draymond, Looney were all draft picks.
