The Rockets will definitely pick him. The only scenario in which the Rockets don’t pick him is if somehow the Wizards draft Clingan and Risacher drops to #3.

I know this is a weak draft, but it seems like this would be using a top-8 pick on Seth Curry.
Useful player. Good to have that kind of shooting on the roster. Fits well in the rotation. Also doesn’t have the potential to be one of the 3 best players on a good team.
I’m not saying that Rissacher, Castle, or Salaun definitely WILL become a top-3 guy on a contender. But they at least have the combination of size and athleticism to have that potential.
At a height under 6’2″ with a 6’3″ wingspan, Sheppard has to be really special from a skills perspective to get there. He’s going to be targeted on defense constantly.
Sheppard was slower than Zach Edey in the shuttle run…
Having a good max vertical doesn’t help a lot when your man has blown by you 4 possessions in a row.
Sheppard may turn out to be a good pro. I don’t know that I’d use a lottery pick to find out if he could one day be a starter.
