this could become the biggest heist in NBA history as news has come out OG and anobi might be leaving the New York Knicks and on depending on where he goes this could become the biggest sort of finesse in trade history in the NBA so we’re going to break down the potential scenarios see what’s going down the realistic possibilities and all the latest reports so let’s dive into it because after OG an anobi was traded to the New York Knicks I don’t think anyone expected him to go elsewhere this off season to test free agency heck reports were coming out that he might return to the New York Knicks on a little discount given his connections with CAA his agent being the son of Leon Rose who is the real decision maker there over with the New York Knicks but news has essentially come out that this is not the case as Jake fiser has broken down that while League Personnel are of the mind cakam will certainly be resigning with the Indiana Pacers there was a world word circulating among team officials at last week’s NBA draft combine that anobi situation with the Knicks is not as cut and dry various teams have left Chicago with the belief that anobi could reach unrestricted free agency and consider deals from other franchises in addition to New York sources have said now this is a wild sort of update a little bombshell because as I sort of discussed after this trade was made with the New York Knicks where obviously OG and anobi got sent to New York along with precious Chua Malachi Flynn in return for RJ Barrett Emanuel quickly and a second essentially when that deal was made all of the news came out that ogn anobi wanted to be in New York he wanted to be on that Squad he’s willing to commit their long term and essentially a deal is probably in place given the relationship again CAA is OG and an noi’s agency we broke it down last summer he left uh his clutch sports agency to essentially join CAA and now with the trade that ended up getting facilitated people expected that to be because essentially you know he had that relationship there with Leon Rose his agent all those types of things but now given the fact that OG and anobi could be leaving the New York dicks here now at this point it is it is pretty bananas because that would essentially indicate that the New York Knicks gave up RJ Barrett gave up Emanuel quickley two guys that have star potential for the Toronto Raptors for a six-month rental not six 3mon rental for a dude that barely played oh and anobi was hurt inside pretty well his entire New York Nick’s tenure and not to break down that but OG and anobi could leave him free agency and I don’t want to get conspiratorial I don’t want to sort of elude different things like it’s guaranteed potentially happen but there’s a possibility he can return to Toronto but you know I’m not saying that’s a report or something but we’ll dive into why that’s potentially possible this offseason but let’s dive into essentially what the truth behind this whole situation is as basically obviously OG anob is a beast out there on the court 15 points per game for rebounds two assists 67 still only 26 years old a guy that is a major asset despite all of his injuries despite all of the sort of turmoil he’s had over the course of this season and during the course of his career with injuries and stuff but basically news has come out that as previously reported members of the Philadelphia 76ers organization have seen OG and anobi is an offseason Target Paul George is also a target for Philadelphia but of the Sixers can’t get George I could see them making a big offer to OG and anobi if for no other reason then it would have to force New York to match the money so obviously two teams in the Atlantic division so regardless of how it affects the Toronto Raptors or anything along those lines right it’s uh that’s pretty big news and essentially OG and anobi already has a relationship with head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers Nick nurse so that would make sense as a potential destination for OG an anobi if he were to leave the New York Knicks certainly a lot more sense than probably the Raptors do right now but I Hest sck my teeth into this because I just made a video on how the New York Knicks are extremely Petty and I would not be shocked if messai you Jerry had some master plan to really stick it to the New York Knicks organization but regardless of all that it makes sense for OG and adobi going to Philadelphia they are losing Tobi I assume that Tobias Harris is going to be gone he’s leaving the team in under restricted free agency there’s memes about Tobias Harris having a burner account and he’s basically trashing on Philadelphia 76ers fans because they call him the biggest bank robber in NBA history I mean go down to Sixers that I just watched Sean absolutely trash on Tobias Harris so I could definitely see ogn and Obi leaving the New York Knicks for uh for the Philadelphia 76ers given you they offer a lot of money all those types of things but obviously it’s probably a negotiation tactic negotiation play but wouldn’t be shocked if he goes down to Philadelphia but I I want to get weird I want to get pretty excited with this because obviously it would be crazy if the Toronto Raptors made a trade and then brought back ogn and noi because you look at our cast space you look at our current roster construction OG and anobi fits perfectly what the Toronto Raptors need we kind of need a 34 that is Elite on defense that spaces the floor that can kind of do all the things we know OG and anobi can he would be one of the perfect types of fits to throw around a Scotty Barnes RJ Barrett Emanuel quickly L sort of team so he fits positionally we also have a ton of cap space opened up this off season and we also know the tight relationship that messou Jerry has with the star player this is the picture I wanted to bring up with uh with OG and anobi there so there’s that relationship there’s the previous connection there’s the petty hate that Messiah ueri has had with the New York Knicks and the Knicks back that way again I just made a video on how the Knicks are trying to veto the wmba com to the city of Toronto so there’s all those memes there’s all of those things coming into play now do I think this is realistic even with all that said probably not but if that were to go down if this were to be be the case this is some master conspiracy by Messiah eer making the deal happen too earlier the that would be the funniest thing I’ve ever witnessed in the history of sports in my 24 years of watching sports in my lifetime I would and for to be with the Toronto Raptors and for an owner that’s as Petty as James Dolan I would love to see that actually go down I know some people were saying a conspiracy during the I think I think pensari was the guy that was sort of leading that wave when the trade Edition happen I still think it’s extremely unrealistic but if that were to go down if that were to actually happen I hope I hope it does just for for my wellbeing for our just excitement for the narrative for the story for it to actually go down but would it be the right move with the Toronto Raptors well you know for pettiness and memes yes I don’t care if it’s a right move injury wise for OG and noi cap space wise all those types of things for the beeps I am absolutely here for it for a basketball s for a guy for a fan base has watched OG edit Obi for a very long time I think we’d all agree that it would be a major risk to give OG anobi the money that he’s expecting in free agency it’s why a lot of people were comfortable with the trade when it happened essentially news has come out that OG anobi will likely decline his player option obviously and become a free agent and the Knicks can ink OG anobi to a max deal for five years 40 $245 million and the expectation is he’s going to probably not be making that but making close to that sort of 40 plus million per year range so again give OG on anobi 40 plus million per season is just a little bit nuts it’s a little bit ludicrous I don’t think the Toronto Raptors should be doing that from a basketball sense but if it me sticking it to the New York dicks if it means creating one of the craziest stories in NBA history I’m here for it I I don’t really care give them the max give them all of the money in the world because I just love to see that sort of meme play out cover that in the offseason and and just hand it to Nicks fanss but frankly I Just Disagree that that’s actually going to go down and my belief and my opinion is that he’ll probably stay with the New York Nicks and him testing unrestricted free agency is just his PL in terms of getting more money and you know all the rumors about a discount I was saying to Chris down there on Nick’s die just there’s no world he’s taken less money in this sort of big contract the prime contract of his career so I thought that was a bit of nonsense bit Hoy anyways so you know I think he’ll end up being with the New York Knicks but if this goes down if this happens this will be the funniest story in basketball
