Rich Paul: “LeBron is a free agent. I gotta focus on his business, and he should be focusing on his business, and let the Lakers hire whoever they wanna hire… I think he has earned the right to have an input if he wanted that, obviously, but it’s just not the case (here).”

A lot of people on twitter are brushing this off as it’s obvious bron will opt out for a bigger contract with the lakers.

But an extension has not been announced yet? I feel like there is more to this.

Most likely this is mind games fron rich paul, pretending to have a slip of the tongue

  2. This is the first off season he hasn’t put any pressure on the front office… which is weird. Too easy right now. I feel like he’s dipping.

nah, he ain’t leaving. last bag of his career plus he’s in LA not cleveland

that’s why i’m confident post-LeBron, another superstar will come here

tho we really need some homegrown talent in the future, new CBA ain’t fucking around

its more beneficial to the Lakers if Lebron opts-out and signs a new deal…the new deal will start at a lower cap hit than the csp number for the last year of the current deal.

  5. Agents aren’t usually this chatty in public. Something is brewing here.

I don’t get this, he doesn’t care who coaches him? That’s such BS. I get that he doesn’t want the blame if the coach gets fired.

Him pretending he had no interest in who they pick says either A) he is leaving (and I doubt it’s this), B) he doesn’t care about actually winning another championship, C) he believes the Lakers are going to hire a championship coach or D) he is secretly picking the coach but it’s someone fans won’t like (which does point to JJ). I can think of any other reason

Lebron is going to weigh his options and he has a good chance at returning to Cleveland. I say it’s 50/50 right now.

  8. He hasn’t officially opted out right? So he is not technically a free agent.
