You should already be used to that JB.

  2. aeronacht

The TJ McConnell jumpers are genuinely unstoppable wtf. You can’t let him get near the paint or it’s over

  3. 693275001

Or we couldn’t stay in front of anyone for a while

  4. redditjwh

He’s not wrong. Nembhard and TJ were unreal!

  5. Simple_Wait_7286

Funny quote but I saw Nembhard and others get to the rim pretty easily at times.

It’s not like they were making ridiculous shots the entire game.

  6. Ordinary-Fish-9791

Lmao. Yeah Nembhard and Mcconnell were unreal tonight.

  7. knowerofsome

Bro giving ant a run for his money with the recent post game quotes

  8. Just goes to show MJ wouldn’t make it in today’s game

    /s

  9. Cvspartan

I see whatever aimbot Siakam had on game 2 he transferred to Nembhard and TJ McConnell tonight

They’re the 2024 heat. Play the injured bucks, injured Knicks, then the Celtics. Have a couple of guys randomly turn into lights out shooters (Martin, Vincent, strus). They just don’t have their best player going nuclear like Jimmy was.

  11. m1a2c2kali

Conseco field house gives them some weird energy, some Vietnam flashbacks were had.

  12. galaxysword2

God I hate this humble brag crap, if they were MJ, they would have won.

  13. truth_2_point_0

    Who yall got:

    – the actual Michael Jordan

    – random role player you’ve never heard of (he is playing the Celtics in the ECF)

  14. buffalotrace

No they didn’t. Jordan, unlike every bum in Indy, played great defense.

Pacers are a fun offensive team that don’t bother with defense at all.

  15. LaserSh0w

We’ve seen it so many times

A star player goes down, other guys get way more touches and opportunities, and when they shoot well they look like stars themselves

Some guys turn out to be a flash in the pan, and others prove over time that they really are that good. There are so many good players in the league

Nembhard looks like the real thing to me

  16. Live-River1879

How many players in this post season are going to turn into Michael Jordan lol Joking or not, it’s a testament to just how singularly incredible the man was that this is the go to comp when anybody plays out of their minds.

  17. Intelligent-Spare706

The pacers scored 38 in the second and 42 in the entire second half.

  18. JoyfulLady78

they sure did but how celtics turned it around is even more crazy, this tatum and j.brown duo is unstoppable. but of course props to pacers performing at top level also they just fell short

  19. feel32own

JB thinks celtics can win vs a team with multiple MJs

  20. background_action92

Bro is gonna have to deal with Michael jordan every game for the next series

  21. Chessh2036

Media thought ANT was the next Michael Jordan, but it’s really TJ McConnell!

  22. wnba_youngboy

Not sure if this was posted too, but a few moments later he said “Hang it in the fucking Louvre.” About the Jayson -> Horford behind the back pass.

  23. TheBoyDuddus6GOD

Jaylen brown barely realizing he’s in the NBA 💀

  24. grantrun

That quote sounds like something JB Smoove would say in Curb your Enthusiasm.

  25. ROSCOEMAN

doing everything to make it seem like their road to the finals hasn’t been a stroll in the park

  26. Phenom_Mv3

A bit of a snobby, condescending quote by Brown. They just had good games, why do Boston players, fans, people in general put up this victim complex like poor me look at these guys balling out

  27. AlexADPT

This always happens to this Celtics team historically. Role players will have random games where they throw in every shot they take. Good to see Boston overcome crap like that. Amazing shot of mental toughness and composure to set up a potential sweep

  28. Blowback_

It’ll be real interesting to see how the pacers play this situation with nembhard and mathurin in the office season or just in the future in general because frankly both these guys can be 2nd or 3rd scoring options on plenty of teams, and I personally like mathurin a lot

  29. AmbitionExtension184

This is why I love this team and why I said we were winning this game even when the score looked bad. IND was shooting 65% most of the game but we were right with them. As soon as their shooting cooled off for a short time we’d take the team. That finally started to happen in the 3rd and we cut the 20 point lead down and then they cooled off again in the 4th and we took the lead.

Incredible mental toughness by this team. Previous Celtics teams gave up in those situations. Everyone on r/nba loves to say the Celtics are chokers or can’t close games and I keep trying to tell you all that this isn’t the same team you’ve seen before. Believe Celtics fans when we tell you we’ve been watching this team all season and 64 wins speaks for itself. 2’s highest net rating ever speaks for itself. This team can ball

  30. Troll_Enthusiast

People were acting like the Highest scoring team in the league without 1 of its best players would just die

  31. Beastcancer69

Ngl but Celtics fans praising anyone is kinda strange to me but us Pacers fans appreciate it

  32. dustinmaupin

Naw mj got foul calls when he was driving to the paint
