They really just need to move the team to the dome for a couple of years and completely teardown and rebuild the arena. It sucks, but if you’re aren’t able to acquire new property.
It’s your only option. Sick of the food, tiny seats, and terrible sound system. Ugly ass arena that looks like a giant off brand romba next to the SuperDome.

Don’t live anywhere near NOLA for it to affect me, but if we want basketball to be taken seriously by the city, the arena needs to be upgraded. They may need to completely renovate. Idk what stadium they could use while doing the upgrades. Is there a college arena close by that’s big enough for nba games? I thought LSU might work, but I didn’t realize it’s like 1.5 hours away from NOLA

The options are either find somewhere to build a new one or have the Pels play in the Superdome for a year or 2 while they entirely gut out that building
But I have also always had concerns about how much they’d actually be able to expand out the lower bowl because that building is bound by the dome on one side and train tracks on the other
