theory flee the Brooklyn Nets is at a a Crossroads in a way uh I think we are we didn’t do as well as we expected last season uh we didn’t make the playoffs but we hope to uh revamp the team and uh make sure that we can compete in the long run I think there’s a difference when people ask uh owners what do you want to do with a basketball team there’s a difference between I want to win versus I want to build a winning mentality and culture that’s sustainable uh those two are very different things you can’t if you want to be just win now you could ruin your future by trading away all of your assets and just win now but I think what I wanted to do is with the Brooklyn Nets is take a longer term approach and build a winning sustainable winning culture I make sure I didn’t miss anything out was high on him I thought he was gonna have like an Allstar type season this year um he didn’t do that but he was really good for them played 82 games was n like almost like 20 points a night so the kid was really really good uh for a subpar team um if we couldn’t get him I would like some of those other pieces over there to build our bench like so if Mel Bridges does wind up in Houston with udoka which I love for for Houston udoka or you know that seems like a match made in heaven but if we could get Dennis schroer as another ball handler if we could get adorian finny Smith another guy that could come off the bench and defend and hit open shots like that’s what I would like to do over there depending on what we do with Mitchell Robinson what is Nicki CL look like could we go over there and replace Mitchell Robinson with Nicki Clon like those are the pieces that I would be more interested in if we could find a way to get Mel Bridges cool I don’t think that happens without sacrificing Julius Randall and at this at this pace is the is it really a sacrifice because Mel Bridges might fit better than Julius Randall right so you know I I don’t know what what the summer looks
