Rip…one of a kind center…riddled by injuries but has his place in the basketball history books.

This man single-handedly could make the worst college ball games watchable. A magician on the mic and in the paint.

Holy shit. I was just thinking about him the other day during the LFR pod

Dang. That makes me sad. I loved how contentious he could be as a play-by-play guy. Also, a legendary player without a doubt.

Never got to see him play but man dude had infectious energy when calling games, I’ll miss the dude, condolences to Luke and the family

This has been a bad year for this sort of thing. I lost my dad 3 weeks ago as did 6 other people I know. Cycle of life is a motherfucker.

RIP to one hell of a Center and just an all around cool guy.

When I was 4/5 around 1996/97 I went to a Bill Walton autograph signing. They raffled away a binder of hockey cards. Me, a child that had never even watched hockey, did not win the raffle. I start crying, and the nervous smile on Bill Walton’s face will forever be burned in my mind. RIP Bill.

He was the grand marshall of a Mardi gras parade during a Dead Show at Long Beach convention center. It was so rad. ❤️

Legend on the court and in commentary.

    Rest in peace, Big Red.
