  1. I honestly can’t wait for the finals to be over so we can stop worrying about re-signing both ihart and OG. I am sitting on freakin needles

  2. GoldenBoyRecords

That’s the max we can offer him. With the cap rising 10% I think he is worth it. I also feel like Hartenstein has another level he can hit.

  3. RIP Bill Walton. Hartenstein and Bill Walton have very similar games.

  4. The_SqueakyWheel

Perfect lets sign that up right now

If you can trade Mitch this makes a ton of sense. Love love love Mitch but he’s just hurt too much to be dependable for this team.

  6. NYdude777

LOL this isn’t new news this is literally the max they can offer him. I think he takes it.

  7. For reference, $18,000,000 puts him around Nurkic, Poeltl, Okongwu, and Jarrett Allen. I think he’s better than all of them. This is a MUST DO for the Knicks imo.

  8. Obviously they will offer him this. Fingers crossed he accepts on day one

After watching him on the roommates pod, I am very confident he will stay

He was talking about when he was on the clippers, that he was willing to sign with a discount because he never had a home.

He obviously loves it here. The team chemistry is just off the walls. Plus with Mitch always getting injured he’ll play alot

Good value for him and the team with this contract, especially if he continues to improve his game

  11. Swankyyyy

This is not news lol. We were always gonna be offering him the max that we could

Let him consistently be a top starting center in the league before we pay him $25 per. He’s only 26. He’ll get paid more in 4 years.

What does this mean for Mitch? He’s making slightly more money than IHart and if they’re paying IHart this much money then maybe they’re looking to start him. That’s roughly 40 million a year for 2 centers. Is this a sign that Mitch is gone or is it worth keeping them both and paying good money to have a solid center rotation? Both these guys are good enough to be starters on any team in the league
