>Their new podcast — “Hello and Welcome” — launches Tuesday on The Nation Network, a sports digital platform focused on hockey, soccer and now basketball.
>They’ll start with three episodes per week, then ramp up to daily coverage of the NBA next season, including pre- and post-game analysis of… Raptors games. The show also plans to feature exclusive interviews with players and coaches, watch-alongs and other special events.
>Lou and Wong said they had always wanted to have exclusive ownership of their basketball content. This partnership does that.
>“When you get that chance to own, all of a sudden you take on these responsibilities. This is our show now.”
>“That’s like the greatest satisfaction I get from doing a show with (Lou),” said Wong. “It’s these encounters that we have, whether it’s in real life or messages that we get, just hearing how excited people are about the show and what we’re doing. That stuff is very motivating.

The Nation Network is really poorly run, most of their content is terrible and their sites are incredibly poorly written. To be honest this is kind of a surprise that they left Sportsnet for this. Would’ve been better off just doing something on their own. I can’t understate how terrible the Nation Networks hockey coverage is.

Pumped for this, although can’t say I enjoyed the call-in shows if they are going back to that

Also says they we’ll produce a retrospective series on the 2019 championship, cover the summer league and the Olympic tourney
