Where Will Brandon Ingram Go?
who wants Brandon Ingram there was a report not too long ago that Brandon Ingram has more trade value than Trey young to me that says more about where Trey young stands and this was not some random Twitter account this was from a real reporter so I found that very interesting something else I seen was the teams with the best odds to land Brandon Ingram next year and the first team on that list was the Orlando Magic and I’m thinking that can’t be right so I take a step back and you look at the list and you realize the list is really just the list of teams that are going to be making moves this summer that’s really what the list is telling you and it’s also telling you that a casual fans perception of Brandon Ingram is still a shooter people think Orlando needs shooting sure go get Brandon Ingram so I’m not going to take too much stock into this list but I do want to look at it and say where I believe the best fit for Brandon Ingram is and let’s get Orlando out of the way right now because I’ve sat here and thought about it and as much as I would like that crazy experiment the only way the Pelicans are doing that deal is if jayen sugs is in it and I highly doubt the magic are trading jayen sugs now the next team on the list is the Hawks which is kind of boring at this point we all know what this deal would probably be right have something to do with Deonte Murray and to me this deal makes a lot more sense for Atlanta than the Pelicans the only reason you would do this for the Pelicans in my opinion is the contract situation you get Deonte on a very affordable contract going forward so maybe that’s why you do it to me it’s a lateral move but if you can make a lateral move while saving money maybe you do that anyway but I don’t see the Pelicans trading Brandon Ingram for dejonte Murray like to me they’re the same level player if not I think Brandon Ingram is a little bit better and bi obviously has a ton of chemistry with players on that team already like I said I feel like it’s a lateral move but maybe it’s a money-saving move and if I’m the Hawks I’m not sure how excited I would be to make this move either just as far as the contract situation goes but as far as on court fit I feel like it’s going to be an excellent fit I feel like Brandon Ingram has been missing a real point guard feel like him playing next to Trey young we will see his three-point shots go back up and he’ll provide Elite pick and roll play in the second unit without Trey young honestly a lot of similarities in his game to Deon but being 68 being able to play out the post more feel like is a better fit with Trey young obviously so I like this fit for Brandon Ingram I’m not sure this what I want to say though I want to see him with a point guard but I’m not sure I want to see him with that much of a ball dominant point guard but I would not hate this move the next team on the list might be my favorite scenario if it wasn’t for the fact that this team would still be in the Western Conference and it wouldn’t even guarantee them a playoff spot but I absolutely love this fit and that is the Sacramento Kings unfortunately we are living in reality here so as much as I would love to say just give the Pelicans Harrison Barnes Kevin herder and Davon Mitchell and call to day throw some draft picks in there I’m not quite sure the Pelicans would do that but if you give them Kevin herder Harrison Barnes Davon Mitchell two first round picks for Brandon Ingram and let’s say Jose Alvarado on the surface that is not sound appealing at all right but you get Harrison Barnes and Kevin herder two guys making good money in the NBA not crazy money right so that means those are two tradable contracts that you’re getting along with two first round picks that you can now use in the next big trade let’s say a team really loves Dyson Daniels well Dyson Daniels only Mak $6 million a year now you attach Dyson Daniels to Harrison Barnes 18 million along with a first round pick who knows what that gets you I’m just giving the rationale for why the Pelicans might do it if I’m the Pelicans I’m not doing that I’m just saying how it could possibly make sense for them as for the Kings I believe Brandon Ingram is exactly what they need at the trade deadline I said they should have been a team go out there and try to get Demar D rozan A lot of people said the spacing would be so bad they need another on ball shot Creator when sabonis doesn’t have it going when Fox is cut off a little bit and they want that to be Keegan Murray but that’s not going to be Keegan Murray’s game I’m not saying he’s going to be Michael Porter Jr as far as the limited offensive bag even though I feel like Michael Porter Jr is now underrated people talking about trading him but that’s a video for another day but I believe Keegan Murray is going to be similar to Brandon Ingram as what Trey Murphy was to Brandon Ingram I’ve made multiple videos this year talking about the Brandon Ingram Trey Murphy connection then you got the sabonis big body screens for bi in a mid-range I feel like it would be a great fit the spacing wouldn’t be optimal but if bi could get back up to five threes a game I feel like it could work no problem the next one is an obvious one I feel like people been saying this for years at this point but just straight up Brandon Ingram for Darius Garland and I like this one for the Pelicans if they also plan on moving off of CJ McCullum I’m not as big of a Darius Garland fan as I once was but you can’t deny the fit with him and Zion Williamson would be amazing the off the dribble shooting the passing it’s a pretty clean fit and I also feel like it’s a pretty clean fit for Brandon Ingram in Cleveland now would Cleveland still have the two bigs in this scenario because then Brandon Ingram’s lack of shooting might become more of a problem but if it’s one big if they decide we’re going to keep Evan Moy we’re going to move Allen or whatever the case may be Brandon Ingram operating in the mid-range with Donovan Mitchell spacing the floor the flare screens for Donovan Mitchell with bi as the ball handler would be crazy and again almost anywhere bi goes he’s going to have to shoot more threes the next team was Philly which I’m not sure how that’s even possible they don’t really have anybody under contract they don’t really have anybody that the Pelicans would want but regardless I feel like it’s I don’t even have to say it that would be an amazing fit Brandon Ingram picking roll with Joel embiid with Tyrese Maxi spotting up my only question there is is Brandon Ingram ready to be a Bonafide number three you may think bi is better than Maxi but that will not be the pecking order the only other teams I see on this list that might be a real possibility I guess you could say the Spurs I don’t really see that happening though but the Miami Heat and the Detroit Pistons I could see those happening Miami I’m not really sure what it would be I guess Tyler hero would have to be included but do the Pelicans just want a taller CJ McCullum and I don’t think they’d be giving up hakz or yic in this deal the problem with a Brandon Ingram deal is the Pelicans have a bunch of wings already they also have Zion who makes it a little bit harder to get players that aren’t good Shooters around them but you already have herb Jones you have Trey Murphy you have Zion and you have Dyson Daniels as well another non-shooter so when I’m looking at these Pelicans trades I’m usually looking for teams that would give up a big or a guard and if we look at the Pistons could there be a deal around Isaiah Stewart the fifth pick and whatever else you need to put in for the salary that’s not Jaden Ivy and actually Detroit wouldn’t even have to add anything else for salary purposes right they’d have to add something probably for the Pelicans to even want to do this deal right but for salary purposes they could just take bi’s contract into their books but Pelicans fans let me know if it sounds crazy for Isaiah Stewart in the fifth pick for bi that doesn’t sound like enough but Isaiah Stewart a big that shoots threes that competes on the glass feel like he would be a pretty good fit next to Zion probably not as a starter but getting 20 to 25 minutes playing the four or the five and then the fifth pick I know people are saying how bad this draft is right but if you’re the Pelicans and you see someone you believe is going to be great sitting there at number five maybe that deal is enough I’m not sure you guys let me know but that’s it as far as teams with the best odds to land Brandon Ingram according to to bada but I have three sleeper teams two I already made videos about which I’ll probably leave in the end card so stick around to the end of the video but the other one is the Indiana Pacers now part of this depends on how good you believe Andrew NIMH hard is going to be not because he would be in this trade although maybe he could be but if you believe Andrew NIMH hard is someone that might average 14 points and five assists next year maybe you don’t even want to go out there and get a Brandon Ingram I’m just throwing that out there maybe you believe this playoff run is just a start for Andrew NIMH hard as an on ball Creator and it’s kind of difficult to assess Indiana and what they need when you look at the fact Yannis was hurt the injuries the Knicks had and now halton’s injury in a series where I felt like they had a real chance so if you’re of the mind that Brandon Ingram would take away from what halberton is doing I can’t really blame you for that but imagine instead of NIMH har it was Brandon Ingram getting all these secondary playmaking looks next to Halton it was Brandon Ingram taking all these pullup mid-range jumpers that NIMH har is taking and making by the way but I feel like it would be a better fit than people might realize and now that I’m thinking about it NIMH hard would have to be in the deal I don’t know what I’m doing with that like NIMH hard is playing amazing right now but let’s not downplay how good Brandon Ingram is and if he was in that role he’s a better catch and shoot three-point shooter even though NIMH har hit that crazy shot against the Knicks so this deal would be mathine jarus Walker Nim hard and a first round pick and if I’m the Pelicans I’m asking for two first round picks but if I’m Indiana I’m selling them on Nim hard has another level he can get to even though he’s already 24 will be 25 next year the other two sleepers were the Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors but again I’ve already made videos on both of those teams and why I feel like Brandon Ingram would fit those teams so you will see those videos in the end card which teams would be my favorite landing spot for Brandon Ingram no particular order Indian indana Golden State Sacramento Cleveland and I think Indiana would be my absolute favorite because they’re in the East and because I feel like Brandon Ingram needs a true point guard but you guys let me know in the comments down below which team you would love to see Brandon Ingram on or maybe you want him to stay in New Orleans let me know in the comments down below thank you guys so much for watching please drop a like I would greatly appreciate it please subscribe I would greatly appreciate it I’m out peace

Shit I’d be happy if he came back to the Lakers. He was injured but he’s a great player. People forgot how he carried NO against the suns so I’m glad there is recency bias bring him over here !
Bro needs to go to Philly or Miami
BI and Larry Nance and 1st rd pick to the Nets for Mikel Bridges and Claxton…
Pels fan ….Isiah steward and the 5th is a no lol laughable… add the Wizards and Utah to your list of interested teams. BI for Markenen
MPJ is not underrated, he is overpaid.
To Mavericks… Trade with Tim Hardaway Jr and 1-2 other role players…
how about big market teams?
The Pelicans are a big example of a dead-end team. Good enough to make playoffs, nowhere near enough to win the title
Bi to spurs Cavs or blazers
Pistons fans don't want bi
If trading For B.I requires letting go of Jalaen Suggs, who gaf 🤣 Franz Wagner, Paolo and B.I? Anyday of the week
Pelicans fan here.
If (and only if) we can acquire Topic or Shepperd, I think this deal can be placed.
We definitely need young, talented main handler who can read the game.
Ingram for Isaiah Stewart & the fifth pick you must really have a Deathwish for pelicans fans … Duran on the table at minimum or it’s no talks, and now that Detroit has hired our former GM who knows all the dirt on Ingram—I doubt seriously any of this is happening now….
You talk about casuals but say dejounte is the same player as BI but taller. U sound dumb af.
Ingram has missed at least 20 games a year for seven straight season as a det fan no thanks we had our blake griffin era and it was shit now Lauri markkanen would make more sense better 3p shooting free throws plays off ball and more rebounding in career averages.
he didn’t show up in the playoffs. it’s actually really sad how low he scored.
Ingram for Jarret Allen win-win
Then they can draft Tristan De Silva
Cavs
The Pistons make a ton of sense when you consider the former Pelicans GM Trajan Langdon is now the PBO of the pistons. The pistons badly need a star next to cade and both him and BI share the same agent. A trade with Ivey, Stewart and #5 or Duren and #5 should intrigued the Pelicans FO at least. Get back young pieces and a draft pick to continue to build around zion. Also allowing the pelicans to be able to have more cap flexibility moving forward.
Miami heat honestly
Da Pelz should take da L get off CJ contract wit they 1st round pick n future 2nd rounds get who they can get (Miles Bridge) from da Hornets resign B.I. and N.Marshall
I don’t understood why he doesn’t play sg or even pg he’s a mid defender and that’s just because of his length the sf and pf need to be good defenders at the minimum. if u want to win just look at the best teams mavs wolves nuggets Celtics
You said wherever BI goes he will have to shoot more 3’s. If he shot more 3’s the Pelicans wouldn’t want to trade him. He is unwilling to shoot 3’s. He passes up open 3’s to get to a midrange shot.
