My understanding is that Trae’s trade value across the league has decreased given
1. League execs prefer Dejounte Murray in a trade, based on his two-way versatility, elite clutch factor, and lower usage / easier to plug into an established lineup 2. Hawks receiving the first overall pick, it’s clear that this is a moment to rebuild, and not retool, around either Trae or Murray

Cole, Black, Howard, 18, our 1st and Denver’s next year, probably a couple more picks down the line? I doubt they want Carter or Issac based off the younger players they do have.
Like most of us, I’m pretty cool with any trade that doesn’t include our big 3, and ideally would prefer to hold Issac and Mo.
