Josh Hart SPEAKS OUT on Knicks Free Agents… | Knicks News

Josh Hart has once again spoken out on New York Knicks free agents Isaiah hardenstein and OG an anobi and we have to talk about this because obviously bringing them back is huge and clearly the New York Knicks players agree so what’s up guys welcome back to Nicks digest it’s Chris here and we’re going to jump right into the video as we always do because Josh Hart was recently in an interview where he spoke about the New York Knicks where they’re at as a team and then got in to OG anobi and Isaiah hartenstein being free agents and if you look what he said was we have the right foundation it starts with Dolan he loves it him to Leon and West to tibs then the players all Cut From the Same Cloth OG iHeart are free agents hopefully we bring them back with all the teams there’s going to be changes but the direction we’re extremely hopeful now shout out to New York basketball on Twitter for that quote and essentially Josh Hart’s absolutely right when it comes to OG an anobi when it comes to Isaiah hartenstein they are guys who are cut from that cloth that the same villain NOA 3 are from when you look at Josh Hart when you look at Jaylen Brunson when you look at Dante de venzo throughout the entire team the mold that they have set they just want to win so badly we’ve seen it with Julius Randle for years like that game when they lost to the Nets a couple years back when the Knicks were awful Julius like flipped that chair out of his way walking off because he was infuriated because he was going toe-to-toe with KD Kyrie and James Harden and the Knicks only lost by three points on some terrible refereeing and all these years later Julius still wants to win Brunson wants to win hartenstein wants to win this unit is a group full of players who are winners who will do anything to win who don’t care about their role as long as they’re winning games today is carelo Anthony’s birthday and there were a few comments on a recent video that Darielle did on Melo I almost said on Mario on Melo and then I also posted just shouting out Melo for his 40th birthday and a lot of people have mentioned yeah Julie Randall has kind of done what Melo was never doing which was like deferring now the difference is obviously Julius is deferring to a top five player in the NBA and people wanted Melo to defer to someone who was a bum outside of three weeks of his NBA career but that’s whatever I’m sorry that’s the truth but with Julius Randall deferring to Brunson and still putting up 30 points per game throughout all of January because the duo works so well together when there’s not a miniature version of Julius and RJ Barrett also on the team now it’s no hate towards R.J I just said it all along he never fit with the roster now that he’s gone now that they replaced him in quickly with OG on anobi who does fit the Knicks went on a tear had they been healthy they probably would have went to the NBA finals this year and if they played the Mavericks they probably would have won the NBA finals this year everyone knows how good the New York Knicks are when they’re a healthy team but it’s also important to you know keep the players they could lose two key role players in hartenstein and anobi now I’m willing to bet any amount of money that OG anobi resigns with the Knicks all signs have pointed to the fact that OG wants to be there that there was a deal worked out before he got traded which ensured that OG was not going anywhere his agent is Sam Rose the son of leyon there is enough reasons to believe that there’s no way OG an anobi is going to leave despite what recent rumors may say because we know how rumors are there’s going to be stories that come out because you never know what’s going to go on and yeah it wouldn’t be shocking if OG met with the Philadelphia 76ers if they contact Sam Rose they’re like hey we want to give ogan anobi a Max contract that has no Clauses for his injuries because when you look at the Knicks I posted about it a few days ago on an OG video Ian Begley already talked about the fact that the Knicks are probably going to fill that contract with games played incentives so the Knicks don’t just give OG a ton of money and then he never plays because OG has dealt with a bunch of injuries in his career now is he fully some injury-prone player not exactly cuz he always does play but he misses a lot of games and it’s obviously problematic because when the Knicks need OG to win and when they have OG they’re 22 and six so clearly everything’s better when OG’s there now Ian Begley broke down the Isaiah hartstein situation in the same article where he talked a lot about OG and he basically said that Haren Stein’s among a small group of free agent centers this summer joining Valen junis and Nick claxon and bringing hartenstein back has been a priority for the Knicks his resigning was a factor that included their approach to an extension when it came to NE negotiations with Emanuel quickly and why they low balled him and Begley said that he would assume the Nicks and hartstein agree on a deal New York will begin talking to hartstein after the NBA finals and you know it’s all good stuff the problem is other teams have money in free agency I’m going to do a full video on hartenstein and a specific team that is targeting him or could very likely be targeting him because they’re targeting big men so we’ll break that all down on another video so you want to stay tuned for that so you know subscribe to the channel but separately from that it’s clear that this New York Knicks team wants to run things back and why would they not like if Jaylen Brunson Josh Hart Julius Randall OG an anobi Mitchell Robinson all didn’t deal with injuries buan bogdanovich all didn’t deal with injuries they would have at least played the Celtics and I said this the day the Knicks got eliminated by the Pacers that I was hard L going to watch the Celtics Pacers series because I just didn’t care I knew the Celtics would sweep him I said at the time I was like look the Celtics are going to win four games and they’re just going to go to the NBA finals and it’s not going to be that interesting yeah the series was a little closer for a sweep but people were like oh it’s the closest sweep of all time no it’s not it is just not okay like I whatever look the Pacers suck there were seven team there was literally seven teams better than them in the East if you want to list them off in the Celtics Knicks bucks Cavs magic heat well six all right six so they they’re the seventh best team in the Eastern Conference they had no business being there in the playoff they had business being in the playoffs they they’re a first round exit and they’re going to be a first- round exit next year I guarantee you anyone wants to disagree let’s bet in the comments down below but that’s a i digress long story short the New York Knicks players want hartenstein back when hartenstein was on the roommates podcast with Brunson and heartt he literally said that if he’s not hanging out with Mitchell Robinson he’s usually hanging out with the Nova guys him and Brunson came into the Knicks of the same year together usually when that happens you’re joining a new place with someone else and this was pre Hart and D venzo you kind of might become friends with the person because it’s like hey look we’re both joining the Knicks at the same time like I don’t do you know anyone here no not really yeah I don’t really know too many of the players like so I guess we’ll figure this out together and Bronson and hartenstein became close you could see the Rapport on the court they were excellently together then Josh har shows up then Dante D venzo shows up and they have this whole unit that is great chemistry everyone gets along and it’s just clearly a great Vibe as Brunson said The Vibes are Immaculate he put that out on Twitter absolutely right and I just want to see more of it honestly now Bret seil did mention that the belief around the league is that OG an anobi will obviously opt out of the contract and should things come down to anobi going to the 76ers or Nicks offering him a max deal New York is not going to let their two-way forward leave them for their immediate Rivals it would look so bad for the Knicks separately and one team that has been whispered as a possible sneaky Suitor for anobi is the Oklahoma City Thunder the addition of anobi alongside Shay would make one of the best moves a team could possibly make this summer now the Thunder of money they’re going to be attached to literally every player who’s good they’re already attached to Paul George somewhere along the way we’re going to see LeBron to the Thunder rumors we’re going to see it about CL we’re going to see it about literally everyone who’s a free agent even bad players we’re just going to see them get attached and handcuffed to the Thunder for the sole reason that the Thunder have money so it’s just going to happen also the Thunder are gonna get Stephen Adams but don’t tell anyone I told you that it’s true though they are they’re 100% going to get Stephen Adams back but again that’s not the point of this I really do think the Knicks are going to bring back OG and tonstein even if it makes their Contra their financial situation a little bit dicey you can move Robinson with the with just the way Isaiah’s playing Mitch becomes a little more Expendable now I I think Mitch is better than hartstein I do but I think hardin’s better fit with the Knicks and also with Mitch’s injuries it makes sense the Knicks are going to have to go out and get a center who can play Elite defense similarly to Mitch they’re not going to get someone as good as Mitch but they can get someone close they they need a big body because Harden Stein’s one thing is he’s not that strong for a center they need someone who like Mitch Joel embiid just can’t move around and there’s only a few of those guys in the league so yeah losing Mitch would be tough but also there’s a world where no one offers hartenstein even near that four years 72 and a half million that the Knicks can go that’s as high as the Knicks can go there’s a world no one offers them as near that the Knicks can get away with I don’t know four years 60 million the exact contract they gave Mitchell Robinson split their minutes exactly even backload Haren Stein’s contract so you have one guy being front-loaded the other being backloaded your money looks fine because Mitch is on a front-loaded contract he’s already made over half his money the next two years they depreciate in value so the money goes down from like I think 14 million to 13 or 12 A5 million something like that so you go the other way around the money works pretty well for Mitch and hardenstein to each play 24 minutes a game for the foreseeable future and just have a great Center tandem not too many teams have that so I would be interested in them doing that I think the Knicks have to bring them back OG’s coming back I’m not even worried about that I’m way more worried about hartenstein than OG OG’s going to stay with the Knicks 100% but guys let me know your the Knicks can keep the squad around at eight points eight rebounds per game putting up two and a half assists doing his thing 64% from the field way above League average and then Oobi putting up 15 points and four rebounds while being some of the most elite defense in the league shooting 38% from three and almost 50 from the field shooting 46 6% on Corner threes and just being an off ball magnet
