this year’s NBA Finals matchup would be completely different if it weren’t for the Brooklyn Nets it all started 11 years ago when Brooklyn sent tons of picks to Boston in exchange for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett one of those picks became Jaylen Brown and another led to Jason Tatum so brookin made Boston one of the best teams in the NBA for years to come but the Nets rebuilt bringing in KD Kyrie and Harden forming the best big three in NBA history they played 16 games together before parting ways with k being traded to Dallas for a package headline by Spencer Den witty and Dorian finny Smith so what’s Brooklyn’s situation like they went 32 and 50 and don’t own any of their first rounders until 2028 because they traded them all to Houston to get James Harden so now Houston has the third overall pick in this year’s draft from Brooklyn just like the Jaylen Brown pick in 2016 and just like the top pick in some future Draft when Brooklyn inevitably does this all over again
