so uh this actually put the Spurs community in a little bit of a loop I want [Music] some we having fun yet all right guys before we get into the context of this video big shout out to bet us uh for sponsoring this video but I bring this up all the time if you guys are interested at all in any type of uh picks predictions if you’re a little confused on what lineups you should go with what parlays are good uh just head on over to bet us TV or you can just go down you can scroll down on their page and you go to NBA picks and predictions and this is some really good content just overall as far as uh the NBA and um everything’s concerned with that so if you guys are interested please please head on over to bet us uh TV they have a really good YouTube channel over there all right so let’s go ahead and dive into this so this photo was posted on Instagram and there were quite a few Spurs fans speculating they were like oh my God is Darius Garland which I don’t understand that at all okay I I don’t understand how you thought that this was Darius Garland this looks nothing like Darius Garland other than the the the hair I mean ah so ridiculous um but yeah but this did get uh spread around quite a bit and some people messag me saying oh man did you see Darius Garland in a Spurs uniform and I’m like no I got to see this that is not the case okay this is actually Tristan uh Newton um out of Yukon and and if you’re interested in what’s going on uh it looks like he just got done with the workout with the Spurs wasn’t anything in particular that he posted or said he just put this on IG he put the uh number two cuz that was that was his number at Yukon and yeah he’s just working out with the with the Spurs and I don’t know if they’re interested in them we haven’t heard anything um but obviously there’s so many players that they’re going to work out and they’re going to be looking at um as of right now the only players that we know for a fact that the Spurs are you know somewhat interested in are Darius Garland um we know that they have some type of interest in in in Trey young which that might have diminished a little bit because we don’t know what’s about to happen uh and also uh Rob Dillingham is one and we know Stefon Castle is is another as well so those are some that’s been out there that we know they have interest in and you know obviously they’re still going to attempt to move Kellin like I don’t think anybody surprised by that so we don’t know what what’ll come out of that so but but that’s kind of the main thing if you’re wondering what type of player Tristan Newton is I won’t just go like deep into it like I do with with other players um cuz more than likely he won’t be a first round pick he could be he could be um but I think that his age is really going to set him back a little bit he is a super senior so fifth year senior I think 23 years old uh that that’s definitely going to help him as far as teams trying to gauge his upside but just some things that he does well he’s pretty high IQ um decent Defender uh he rebounds very well for his size so that’s something um also I I think that he finishes around the rim pretty pretty well he has a he has a good mid-range shot uh while sometimes he has a little bit of spotty uh selection uh on the court he he does have a pretty uh a good mid-range shot he has some go-to go goto um moves that is you know and that that’s always important um but if you’re looking at his statistics in his fifth year pretty dog on good 15 points uh .9 steals. 3 blocks 6.2 assists uh so there’s that IQ coming in 6.6 rebounds 80.8 free throw percentage um so if this 32% three-point percentage that that’s like ah I don’t really care about that if that doesn’t impress you well you can look at his free throw percentage you know the the capability is there like he he could be a very uh solid shooter uh in the NBA and then field goal percentage 41.5 so he he’s a fine Prospect he’s not going to be anybody that I think will be in the first round it’s it’s possible but you know due to the success of Yukon obviously uh but I I don’t I don’t think I don’t think uh a lot of teams are going to be seeing a ton of upside with the type of player he is but he does play hard work hard and at 6’5 getting nearly seven rebounds per game I mean you you can’t really argue with that okay 15 six and six are good numbers um regardless so um do do like him do like him but yeah guys this is not Darius Garland uh this TR Tristan Newton uh yeah I I don’t even see how people got yeah I don’t I don’t get it I don’t get it um but anyways um that’s all I have just wanted to talk about that but anyways I will get with you guys later till next time bye byebye bet us America’s favorite Sportsbook and Casino Live betting and Race book we’re celebrating 30 years with a historic offer a 125% sign up bonus on your first three deposits Plus 10% gamblers Insurance get started today bet us ask where the game begins [Music]
