He deserves it. Seeing the vision of what team needs to be around Luka and executing that almost immediately. Hopefully he can be here for a very long time

Hail Nico

Not bad for a shoe salesman

I thought Nico would cook in free agency. I thought his relationships with players meant he’d lure them to the big D. I thought trading was something veteran GMs did successfully.
The thing I couldn’t have known is Nico is using his relationships to target undervalued **PEOPLE** high character, motor, moral value guys that love to play ball
Nico’s just getting started and a great sign new ownership is invested in the team as constructed

Praise the Lord! And remember guys, this is just the beginning

My bad for referring to Nico as a shoe salesman when he was hired. If we had Donnie, we would have Udonis Haslem and Andre Iguodala on a multi-year deal.

Would be nice to see a reliable 3rd option as a 3 pt shooter (that could hopefully defend). Right now, it’s an amalgamation of PJ, DJJ, Green, Exum, i.e., whoever is hot right then.

LFGG!! I was worried about this, I was wondering why it was taking a while to get it done after kidds extension. Future is bright fellas!

Not taking away anything Brad because the Celtics are a juggernaut but they were always expected to be one of the top teams in the league. Nico overhauled this roster since last year’s trade deadline and made them go from Play In team to Finals contender.
He brought in 8 new players including 4 starters and 1 rotation guy and they get to 50 wins & the Finals. This can be a 55-58 win team next year and a top seed in the West since almost everyone is under contract. If that isn’t ground for Exec of the Year idk what else is

Earlier this year I was downvoted for saying Nico was a good GM and had made a lot of good moves despite the lack of assets. Now look at us. Who’s talking now you dumdums?
