Good to see his ego is just as big as the day he left. Way to learn nothing, buddy.

Who cares lol. The man hasn’t been a raptor in 20 years. It doesn’t sound like the team is gonna retire his jersey anytime soon so why does it matter? We got a ‘ship and he didn’t. That’s enough of a “fuck you” to him

It’s honestly too long ago to really care at this point
I appreciate what he has done, but his lack of insight isn’t going to endear fans and shouldn’t endear the organization either
I don’t support the retirement

That’s fine if he wants to be traded, but he half-assed played when he wasn’t sitting out with fake injuries. 15 ppg for a whole season. Tanked his trade value and Raptors got dog shit in return for a superstar in his prime. If I don’t show up to work and do my job, I get fired. Breach of contract.
Raptors should have got an Allen Iverson level player in return.

It’s been 20 years and all he had to do was say “I have grown as a person and although I had every right to want out and told the team, I wish I handled it differently. Looking back, I would have told younger me to do things better.”
While that wouldn’t convince everyone, it would have gone a long way. But for him to be in his 40s and still not show growth is a headscratcher.
