I mean clearly the Lakers are trying to improve the public image of hiring someone with no coaching experience. I expect more of these types of posts until JJ is hired. I wonder who’s the target audience for this – is it fans, Laker players, potential Laker additions, or others? Most fans are going to wait for the first 20-30 games before judging JJ.
Didn’t the Miami Heat coach have no experience as well? Pat Riley took a chance on him and it worked out. At least JJ played and has a high basketball IQ. I don’t mind taking a shot at JJ. It can’t get any worse than Ham.
