This is why blitz was so effective agaisnt Edward’s because Gobert is awful at making decisions at the middle of the floor or handling off short roll

  2. WallStreetDoesntBet

Best way to defend Luka is to triple team him and let everybody else on Dallas score at will.

Have a Prime LeBron or a healthy Kawhi.

There isn’t a player in the league that can has the length and the strength to guard him.

JJ will pull up this video for a refresher next season in game, after he consults “coaching for dummies”

This is really insightful and actually super easy for laymen to understand (with a bit of Google) but unfortunately it will have 30 upvotes and the top comment will be “LeGM giving his future coach some pointers” or some stupid shit like that

McDaniel is a low iq team defender.

This answer (blitzing, quick double) is also the most “efficient” way to guard a Jokic post-up, which is how the Lakers dealt with him in the playoff series

Why is LeBron helping the celticks. Et tu LeGoat?

I love the LeBron and JJ content like this. I wish there was more of a market for it instead of arguing about who’s the GOAT ad infinitum

  10. Real-Psychology-4261

I love this shit. It really does show how difficult the NBA is, even though most casuals see guys running around all willy-nilly.

Darvin Ham: Catch him outside his house and kidnap him

LeGM giving his future coach some pointers

You don’t stop great scorers from getting theirs, you plan to limit their efficiency and their impact. The wolves did a good job defensively against the mavs, they didn’t try to stop Luka from scoring they tried to take away their most effective plays, the corner 3s, and they succeeded to a degree. But Mavs held up well defensively, and Wolves still lacked the offensive schemes to score at will.
Just like Celtics 2022 let Steph get his and limited everyone else and it worked, cause they limited the Warriors offensively but they lost cause Warriors were better defensivly, and Celtics offensive engines in Tatum had a horrible series.

Best way to defend against Luka is diving for his knees

  15. A lot of words to say put Kurt Rambis on him for 1 quarter

  16. Conscious_Heart_1714

I think it’s this, blitz and take the ball out of his hands. Or just have a sacrifice, and legit just be like glue on every other man and let him cook one guy and have zero outlet options. If he can score 100 and beat you, then fuck it you deserve to lose.

And this is where the Pistons will need to try and improve their roster. When performing a 1-5 P&R and the opposing 5 drops, Cade will settle for the midrange shot. Yeah, sure he’s shooting 50% from around the free throw line, but that’s still way better than giving up a corner three.

The addition of Simone helps with that, but I hope Ausar really works on at least being an average shooter from the corners.

lmao lebron’s celly when JJ told him he was right

I’m going to miss this show because once JJ becomes the coach, it’s all over.

  22. Ancient_Round_4811

Seriously, I need JJ Redick’s skincare routine. He’s always glowing. Ageless

  23. Blabbit39

Remember when this was the sports commentary we got all the time instead of hot takes. It feels so warm and comfortable and man I miss it.

I thought that “the team who wants it more wins”. At least that’s what SAS and Skip have told me.
