Take the rebrand all the way and change the team name. Least aptly named team of all sports I can think of. They were the New Orleans Jazz (birthplace of Jazz), and kept the name in spite of being a city with potentially the least association possible with Jazz.

Should change their name too. I guess it’s iconic at this point but it annoys me they kept the Jazz name despite being a team based out of fucking UTAH. I don’t like the Lakers being called that either but there is no way they’re changing it now

MLSE doesn’t seem to have any interest in a drastic rebrand for the team. With all the city/statement/earned jerseys they’ve been able to have their cake and eat it too. They keep the “Canada’s team” red & black as the primary jerseys, but also get to sell purple alternates and the black & gold OVO stuff.
Raptors fans didn’t reject the red & black the way that Utah fans hated the highlighter colours

Those aren’t bad. Look like an upgraded version of Utah’s retro jerseys which is what I hope the Raps do.

They really improved with these. Hopefully Raps can learn that chevrons are awful and do something similiar

Biggest W in recent memory for them, those jerseys were some of the worst ever.
I saw someone point out usually we do a rebrand after the anniversary season which had a throwback jersey. 2015 we had the [classic purple dino jerseys](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tsn.ca/raptors-ready-for-throwback-test-against-wizards-1.127532%3ftsn-amp) for the 20th season and then the next year we rebranded. In 2020 we had the [throwback white dino jerseys](https://www.blogto.com/sports_play/2020/08/toronto-raptors-grizzlies-retro-jerseys/) and then rebranded the year after.
